This is my first review so I'm sorry if I sound unprofessional :P

I'm really enjoying this series boys, I love it, I love it way beyond what I expected.
Let me tell you about a very famous legend I hear all the time, a story passed down through generations by word of mouth: The legend of the people whom enjoy nature and the small things in life.
Have I ever seen one of these creatures? Of course not, but I have a friend of a firend who knows this guy who has, indeed, seen one.
Yuru camp is all about these misterious beings everyone knows but nobody has ... ever seen.
Now, all jokes aside, I'm the tipe of guy that in general doesn't like "cute girls doing cute things" shows, but this is different. Most of these shows are "empy" and have no substance whatsoever, but Yuru camp does what it wants in a very effective way. It combines the art style, the animation and the sound design with it's laid back story and characters almost perfectly*, giving the show the power to convey what it wants to convey: How wonderful camping is, the greatness of friendship and how life can be awesome even if taken slowly.
There is no semi-nude fan service, the art is very high end for anime in general, the animation is perfectly fine for the tipe of show this is, I really like the soundtrack and I think it suits the show very well, the sound effects are very good.
The characters are pretty good, although they seem one dimentional, as the show goes on we keep learning new things about them little by little. Given the slow pace of the story I would say that the slow character development is fine for now.

In conclusion this is a slow paced and relaxing story about girls living their life with their friends. It revolves around camping (Trust me, thanks to the show I want to gather a couple of friends and go camping right this istant), it has decent comedy and absolutely no tension.
I recommend you give it a try even if you think you might not like it.

*The CGI vehicles throw me off every once in a while but it's such a minor problem that you should just ignore this asterisk.
