Literally Every review for this anime under 3 episodes is negative, and every review over 3 episodes is good. Why does animelist even let someone review an entire series when someone has only watched 3? Its so annoying when someone who has No clue about the story or characters be able to rate it, but dont listen to them. The story is wonderful and the characters are too. The pacing of this anime is so well done also, it feels like there is nothing but a straight awesome clear lined story that has some emotional impactful scenes as well as some of the best damn

This Anime is a masterpiece.
The main character Shadow is the most unique character to ever be animated in all of anime history in my opinion, His way of thought, his actions, how badass he is. Yes I am including that. No other Isekai can compare. The story follows a crazy High schooler who has always dreamed of being an OP MC. No matter how hard he trains, no matter how smart he gets. He is but a human. And it drives him to a point of Psychosis and dies in the most Cliche way ever. By trunk-kun. Reborn he is now a typical OP ...

I dont know how many times i tried to rewatch it to understand what the hype was ever about, but every time i do the more i dislike it. There is 0 personality in any of the characters it is insane. Then that blond kid came around and thats when i decided that im done with this anime. The world itself though is nice, i like the idea of demon slayers because its been done already a thousand times and its usually a green light for it to be good, but no. Not this one. The characters are as flat as a tsunderes chest.

It started great, fun episodes new characters and funny moments. But will this go on forever? And ever. And ever. And ever. The same punch lines, the same jokes, the same situations. Holy cow man it just got repetitive so fast, i couldnt last another episode before i was dying. And i usually like repetitive stuff but this one takes the cake for being repetitive and boring after awhile. Episodes 1-12 were great and id give it a good 7 but after that it was just a sad dog waiting to be put down. Id still say to watch it because it is a good

Started off strong but around the time he went undercover is where it kind of slowed down a lot, it had felt like 1 episode had been stretched into 5 episodes, which couldve made room for so much more.
The ending was nice, but of course there has to be a season 2 because the ending was also cut short, if they had used those 5 episodes of filler for after the ending, it wouldve been a nice finish. Now its just exactly like me making filler sentences to make the fucking deadline for this stupid ass review character limit before i can post it, ...

People expect a full on Shonen MC that goes through all the struggles of a normal person in about 2 seconds. This anime makes fun of that and i think people forgot that this was a parody/comedy anime that makes fun of anime like SAO and in that regard its a lot like OPM which also mocks the Shonen industry.
And for the other parts that people don't like about the anime is the MC being a "looser" and "sucking" but i just think that it hit too close to home for them. But I found it refreshing and after about 3 months of not ...

The plot feels like a 40 year old's nostalgic acid trip.
I get it "re-watch it man" but why would i spend hours re-watching a anime to figure out wtf is happening? It compels me how people rate it a 10 but that's just nostalgia for you. Bunch of old people and little kids. Maybe if i was younger id enjoy it more but to my developed anime brain its just hard to watch. I feel like the less i thought about it the more it made sense. And that right there is not a good sign of a good anime. Probably am going to ...

Have the patients to watch this god tier anime, if you dont you wont enjoy it plain and simple. Its OST is one of the best in anime, fights are rewarding for the most part, art is awesome but i disliked how they changed the artstyle but that tends to happen after long time, story is unique and fun and easy to follow. All in all great anime for those who love shonen. Personally the dub is what made me love it but the sub seemed alright too.
