I tend to use a 5-point scale when grading things in my head (5 Masterpiece, 4 Good to Really Good, 3 Average/Forgettable, 2 Bad, 1 Terrible) so this scale is a little weird to me. Here's what I'm trying out.
10 (Incredible): I will gush about this show to anybody who will listen and many who won't. Absolute masterclass that I anticipate revisiting time and again.
9 (Fantastic): I have a lot to say about this show, but it's kinda weird and not perfect. This is for things just short of 10 status.
8 (Great): A show I genuinely enjoyed and had a great time with. My go-to recommendations for people already in that general genre.
7 (Good): A pretty neat show, but I found it lacking. This is my cut-off for actively reccomending it to people.
6 (Fine): Decent show. Had a neat idea or 2. Probably will never revisit it, but if I hear somebody else is watching it I'll chat with them about it.
5 (Average): Forgettable. If a show didn't offend me, it'll get at least a 5. If I bothered to finish it of my own free will it probably deserved a 5.
4 (Eh): I don't like this show.
3 (Ehh): I *really* don't like this show.
2 (Bad): I will become an asshole and actively combative of people who say they like these shows, but I'll inevitably respect their opinion.
1 (Terrible): I have never rated anything a 1 (not even SAO) so if I ever do it is some sort of vitriol I would never want uncovered
