This is my unbiased opinion, I must start off by saying if you have not seen the original; "Uma Musume Pretty Derby" you will not enjoy this series. This series is obvious that it's tailored for the "Pretty Derby" fan, other than that identity it has little to offer in unique characters, story, and in enjoyability.

Without a centralized plot it's easy to lose focus of what exactly you're watching. I found myself at different parts finding myself tired of watching, the characters were adorable at moments but that was not enough to keep me entertained. Throughout the whole series I found myself ... laughing only once at a gag from the start of the series, the rest felt like I was giving a stale smile to convince myself that I was not wasting my time

The few positives I can give Umayon is that I enjoyed the outro tracks and it's "moe" style which was perfectly fit the tone of the series. But that is all of what I have to say for it's positives.

Overall, I would not recommend this series to anyone unless they are fans of it's mother show. If I were to rate this given my bias even then It would be a Solid 8 and that's generous because I'm a huge fan. Other than that it would be a ( +3 )

The "One Shot" Manga was a delightful short experience. I've never read or seen a anything related to Bleach before and I never planned to but this really exited me to get into the specific section of the series. The only lacking feature of the Manga was the character development, which is obvious because it would be difficult to shove a bunch of character background into a few pages. The "perverted" character lacked the placement in the manga, maybe because his connection ... to the other characters was very brief. He just seemed to be there for a little scene of comic relief, out of place. Overall it was enjoyable and I look forward to the anime film adaptation.
