Hands down best slice of life anime this season. If you want to watch that one anime that will make your heart feel so warm at the end of hard day or week - this is anime for you. For me it's bonus since MC Mako reminds me a lot of MC Hiiragi from 'The Suffering of a 26 Year Old Unloved Female Doomer' which I also love and root for MC there.
Animation and sound: great. The animation is very unique for show and music is quite decent. Watching this show was joy for the eyes, I didn't notice a single scene where I noted
...
a drop in quality. Music while not giving something unique other than OP or ED was decent.
Overall: animation and music are good with artwork that makes this show unique when compared to others.
Characters: this is where this show shines, there are 5 main characters here and it is their interactions that make this show great. It is also refreshing that main characters are university students rather than high school ones, that means while still silly and free spirited they are more mature and can actually drink booze. xD
Mako - MC of the show and prime wife material. She is interested in cooking but is shy and unsure in herself. Over the show she is doing her best in order to overcome her shortcomings. She is adorable and cute, this is what prime wife candidate looks like.
Kurea - she is daughter of a restaurant owner and knows how to cook very good food. She is your dependable onee-chan of the group. I like her very much because of how caring and serious she is when situation demands it. Without her the group would be in all sort of troubles. Mako's new best friend, and one that initially helped her in starting to overcome her shyness. 2nd best character of the show.
Shinon - Mako's friend from middle school and leader of a group. But she is also very carefree and silly, she constantly have new ideas that half of the time get group in trouble. She herself is kind of a clutz but her carefree nature, ability to push others toward goal and silly situations she usually creates make her a best comedian character of the show.
Higa - she is smol, she is cute and she love sheeps. Very laid back character but very cool one. Calm and collected she will always be there to give a helping hand and play some nice music if she cannot assist in any other manner. 2nd best comedian of the show.
Nana - this is a funny one. She has a problem of socializing as in she is scared of people. This only lasts until she gets to know them better. Once that happens she turns into best drinking/hang out buddy you could have wish for. Higa is her best friend and one that introduce her to the group and once she settles up with everyone her charisma and bright personality really helps in carrying the group around.
Overall - characters are all very unique and well written. It is interactions between them and how they hang out during the show is what makes it so great.
Story - there are basically two stories here: 1st is about Mako trying her best to change for the better and the 2nd one is about food research club and their activities. Story itself is quite basic, we have everything except beach episode. But every episode have them making some new food and enjoying it while being at different location every time. What interested me the most here is Mako's character development and in that field I was not disappointed. Shame that other characters remained basically the same but watching them hanging out in various places and joking around is what this show is about and in that regard I was more than satisficed.
Overall grade: 10. Best slice of life show this season and definitely worthy of watch.
I would recommend this show to everyone who wants to watch enjoyable slice of life show with cute girls doing cute things. If you have hard time at work during this week it is perfect to heal your soul for the weekend.

I am not gonna lie, this anime was quite strange. But despite that it is one I very much enjoyed watching. Sometimes you do not need action, mystery or pure romance - you need that good slice of life moments to really enjoy life and this anime is offering a lot of it.
Animation and sound: very good. The artstyle is quite unique for this anime , if you show me a random shot 10 years from now I would say 'yeah, that's from Mono'. It is very enjoyable to the eyes and animation during some scenes is amazing (like when they were skateboarding during middle
...
of the show). Music is also good, I actually did remember one track - the one that appear when there is some funny scene (like when they poked the cat with cucumber). It has some electric wibe and it was great, it stick to my mind and that praiseworthy enough.
Overall - animation and music are great.
Characters: quite varied. You have three highschool girls who are part of the same club and they go around taking photos and making movies. Then you have three manga artists and finally a motorbike driver. All characters are funny and enjoyable to watch despite all of them being kind of bland. Three highschool girls are your basic anime girls but without any notable trope like school idol, otaku or happy go around. You might argues that Sakurako is kuudere type but she has a lot of warm moments as well to fall just into that category. The others however fall into category of: lazy manga artist, gothic loli manga artist who is into supernatural and a lady who enjoys riding a bike a bit too much. All of them combined do not bring something new or something deep - but what they bring is cheerful interactions as they go from situation to situation over the 12 episodes.
Overall - characters are good and enjoyable. Not as interesting in other anime series but different enough to see what will happen next.
Story: Honestly I am confused here, if you ask me what is the main story of Mono I would struggle to answer giving how random everything is as episodes progress. Imagine Baccano but there is no grand plot that ties them all together in the end. Basically the anime starts with highschool girl Satsuki's sempai graduating and her losing her cool becasue of that (becasue she loves sempai a bit too much...) so in order for club not to be dissolved (since they are lacking members now) and in order to find something other to do in life she decides to merge the photo club with cinema club and make photocinema club. Then after buying a camera online and meeting it's previous owner, the manga artist Haruno, all of them go to various places in order to do random slice of life things. Be it for taking new images, getting inspiration for manga, going on a trip, competing in eating competition, encountering supernatural things etc... Did I mention this show has supernatural things? It is also full of references to other big media and anime/manga.
Overall - story may be all over the place but it is quite enjoyable watch as you never know what will happen from week to week.
Overall grade: 9. Very good slice of life anime.
I would recommend it to other people. Even if you are not slice of life enjoyer with animation and music this good, characters this different and plot this random you are bound to have enjoyable time regardless.

This show is one more of 'girl rock band' shows we have seen in recent years like 'Bocchi the rock'. But unlike Bocchi or K-ON for that matter I would say this one is more mature which makes it unique and rather good.
Animation and sound: excellent in both fields. Animation is fluid throughout the entire show and when they are playing songs and preforming concerts you can notice cgi but it very well done. They really went all out on performance scenes, watching each of them was so enjoyable I would rewind episode just to enjoy the music and performance again. The music is outstanding,
...
the OP and ED are both enjoyable and catchy and despite the band being instrumental in nature all the songs they have preformed were great.
Overall animation and music - great. Which is very important in music band shows like this.
Characters: MC Lylisa has a dream of becoming the ultimate ojo-sama in her private girl academy where all the elites of Japan are attending. In order to get that dream she must act as a lady and do proper lady things, while deep down in herself she is hard rocker. Otoha on the other hand is a proper lady who likes to let herself loose from time to time. The dynamic between these tow is great (lot of yuri vibes) and they really carry the show with their interactions and development. Later in the show they are joined by Tamaki and Tina, each with their own quirks and skills. They add more flavor to the already established dynamic and it is a joy to watch development between them. I would also like to note Alice, Lilysa's younger sister who gets most development in this show.
Overall characters are great and their interactions are enjoyable to watch - especially after concert. xD
Story: story is about Lylisa aiming to be the top ojou-sama so that she could easy life of her mother who remarried into rich noble family. But that road is full of obstacles as not only she needs to act like a proper lady (which she founds very hard as she was raised as an ordinary girl) but she also must hide her love for things like rock as they are not lady like things. Soon she meets Otoha by chance or fate and from there the story goes it's usual rock band way. Overall it was a great story and very enjoyable form start to finish. Especially the concert bits and events after them, they were a pure joy to experience.
Overall grade: 10. One more hidden gem of this season of hidden gems.
I would highly recommend this show, even if you might feel saturated by cute girls band shows this one is different enough to give it a go. And it is experience that is worth giving a try.

This anime is beside All Perfect Saint and Apocalypse Hotel one of the hidden gems of Spring 2025 Season Anime. It was a wild and disturbing ride from start to end and I love every minute of it.
Animation and sound: it's studio SHAFT so expect great animation and a lot of titled heads. xD But in all seriousness animation was fluid throughout entire show, the few battle scenes we have here and there are great and I must praise for character models - each of them are excellent despite many of them having really short screen time. Music is also good, the opening and ending
...
theme are quite memorable.
Overall animation and music - top stuff as expected form studio SHAFT.
Characters: this is where anime really shines as you cannot decide which character is bigger sociopath. MC's Konoha and Satoko are prime example of this. Konoha is an assassin and if you put a wall and her side by side you cannot say which one is which. While Satoko is funny and dumb to a point where she feels very innocent. The developing dynamic and relationship between them is one of the reasons that makes this show great. As both are sociopaths in their own right and seeing them clash and help eachother in various situation was so enjoyable to watch. Other than Konoha and Satoko we have Marin who is also an assassin but a bit on a dorky side, she was also a great character and her interactions with main two is what pushed show in the right way. We then have LEader and Yuri, a sesbian couple who is also occasionally present to help the main duo. Yuri is stupidly innocent while Leader is a typical good-looking scumbag, but they both work together very well and are fine addition to the main cast. Last one I would want to mention is Aiko, the only 'good' character in the show. Her story in show is so tragic and yet she gives it her best that you cannot but feel the need to protect her. Other characters are also great in design but since they appear for only 1 or 2 episodes they are not impactful enough to talk about them.
Overall MC's are great and really carry the show.
Story: this story is very simple: one day assassin saves a runaway ninja and they form sort of alliance. Ninja will help assassin in disposing the bodies and assassin will in turn defend ninja. From there the story is basically the two of them getting into all sort of situations and developing their relationship over the run of the show. But man... this show may seem innocent and cute but it is so dark it's on the level of Berserk and similar anime. Without spoiling too much I can say that in a single episode show will make you feel doki-doki only to make you feel 'what the f**k' in the next 5 minutes. And some of the dark elements are really dark. If you expected to watch this show just to relax and have doki-doki time then it is not for you. Enter in it prepared to be more shocked than anything, and the show is great in keeping your feelings fluxuating throughout the entire run time.
Overall the story is great but it is not for the lighthearted.
Overall grade: 10. It was a fun ride from start to finish. If they ever release Season 2 I will watch it.
I will also recommend this show as one of the hidden gems this season. Just be warned that you will be more shocked then relaxed while watching it.

Every anime season has few hidden gems, this one has few of them - and Apocalypse Hotel will probably be remembered as the biggest gem. And well deserved title to that.
Animation and sound: excellent. The animation is pleasant to the eyes and fluent throughout the entire run time of the show. Music was also great, really heightening some scenes. The scenes of the various locations and how different creatures interact with them are greatly done and the track, while providing nothing notably to remember, did it's job well to make those scenes feel alive.
Overall, this department did their job masterfully.
Characters: MC of the show
...
Yachiyo may be a robot - but she is filled with more emotion and character development than most anime MC's today. As the show goes on she develops as a character, makes new friends, care about other robots and in the end even starts feeling things. Which for a simple service AI is a big thing. Other noteworthy characters are Ponko and her family, they arrived at some point and made hotel their new home. At the start they were only using Yachiyo's hospitality but in the end they not only started to care about robots and hotel - but became part of the family as well. There were few other alien characters but nothing too notable as they are mostly 1 episode characters. But the main ones we get are so well written and unique that you do not feel bored or angry for even a single minute of this show.
Story: Story revolves around Yachiyo and robot staff of the Gingarou hotel that were left behind when Humanity left Earth becasue of natural disaster. The story follow them as they spend centuries not only waiting Humans to come back but overcoming crisis after crisis as the time goes on. Despite grimdark theme the show is very light and wholesome to watch. I quite enjoyed the story, seeing how not only Yachiyo and robots overcome difficulties but how Tanuki family joins them and together they build something worthy on a world left behind by it's primary species. Story was excellent from 1st to last episode.
Overall rating: 10, this show deserves it without any doubt. If they ever release Season 2 I will watch it.
I whole recommend this show to any anime watchers. In a few years it will be of the same stature as Angel Beats or Girls Last Tour. A single season 12 episode anime that will make your day better and you will wish that there is a Season 2 in production.

Giving the fallout Rent a Girlfriend caused with Chapter 380 this series so far is a fresh breath of what author Reiji Miyajima is really capable off when it's not point to making entire fanbase angry. It's not a perfect story but it is building to something that can be potentially great if handled well.
Animation and sound: decent, animation was fluent throughout the entire show and music is serviceable. Nothing to give high praise to but nothing to bash it either. Overall it is what should be industry standard.
Characters: The main focus of the series is in it's characters and there are 7 main -
...
2 brothers and 5 sisters. I liked all of them as each of them is playing to their own stereotype without being too blunt about it (Ouka being typical tsundere, Banri typical bully type onee-chan, Kotono shy and sweet little sister etc...). The dynamic between then as they all slowly start to fight for their older brother is what makes this show shines. Arata is a decent MC, kind of dense and out of touch (as he is really trying his best to think about all of them as family despite those bonds being very tested right now) but the way how he handles certain situations and how he support his sisters is very touching. Overall the dynamic between them is nice and I very much enjoyed it.
Story: the premise is very simple - when Kotono (who is youngest daughter) turned 15 their dad dropped a bombshell of a news. With the exception of Minami and Shion none of them are blood related. They have all been adopted from different families and raised as one. What ensues is pure chaos as each sister is slowly awakening her inner desire to bone her older brother. The story is very slow mind you, it was only after episode 5 that it took pace and we got proper character arcs. Manga is still ongoing so who knows where the story will go and who will win in the end (it was hinted that we will indeed have a winner), I just hope it will not go with the way Rent a Girlfriend has gone.
Overall score: 10 for me, it was quite enjoyable. Others may rate it 7 at best, giving that it was really a mid anime since half of the time nothing happened.
I would recommend it in the end, simply becasue the romance drama that is slowly building up between siblings is too funny to skip.

There are action heavy shows, there are romance shows, there are shows that really makes you think and then there are shows that makes you laugh out loud. But then there are shows like Zatsu Tabi that you watch to relax and enjoy something out of the ordinary.
Animation and sound: pretty decent, the locations that are visited were done justice. I did noted occasional cut on animation here and there (there is a scene with 3D car passing by and if you play scene frame by frame you can see it just gliding with wheels not even moving. xD) but not enough to ruin the
...
experience for me. Music was also serviceable but nothing to really hit it with me to remember a certain soundtrack from the show.
Overall animation and music - it is decent and it gets the job done. You can see that the real effort was on the locations which is the point of the show, so plus for that.
Characters: Our main heroine Chika is not some mastermind or talented chosen one - she is an ordinary manga artist who is struggling with getting the inspiration for her manga. So in order to fix that she goes on a journey around country (hence the name of anime). She and others in this anime (and there is not many characters to that) do not have some sort of extreme growth, more of like they stay the same but seeing so many different locations they get answers to the many life questions they have up until then. For some of them we find out their backstory, but overall this anime is more about a group of friends traveling together here and there. All of them are enjoyable and have their own quirks and for the duration of anime I had fun.
Overall characters while they do stay mostly the same by the end it's the hang out during the journey that is the heart of the show. And those moments are really enjoyable to watch.
Story: Rather basic, Chika is struggling to get inspiration to draw a good manga so she uses the reward money she got in manga competition in order to travel across Japan and get the inspiration she needs. That's it, the rest of the story is bonds between her and her friends and the backstory about all the locations they visit. It's a very wholesome show and giving the theme it hits perfectly within the realms of expectations.
Overall grade: 10 for me, although average anime watcher might give it 7 due to how tame the show is.
Now would I recommend it? It depends on the person, if you are looking for anime to makes you cry tears or feel the satisfaction after hard battle was won or surprise after your best friend stabs you in the back - this is not anime for you and you can go ahead and skip it. For those who enjoy some calm afternoon shows from time to time this is one for you.
But there is one group of people I would recommend this as a watch - people that are planning to go visit Japan. Outside manga and hanging out storyline the rest of anime is about famous locations in Japan, their backstory, what do they offer, how to get there (via bus, train or by foot) and how much certain things may cost. It is my opinion that watching anime like this can actually prepare you better for your visit, especially the part where they explain about transportation aroudn the country.
All in all - good show. I doubt there will be S2 at all but for one shot anime it was an enjoyable watch.

After 24 episodes the story of Raido-kun and Aharen-san is finally over, and it was a nice wholesome story from beginning to end.
Animation and sound: pretty decent. Nothing to amaze me but also not a bad quality as well. It was constant from start to finish which is a nice touch. I like the artstyle a lot, characters all look unique and alive. The music is decent, it get's the job done. Although it is pretty standard and there is unfortunately not a single song I remember from the show.
All in all, quite decent and what should be industry standard across the board.
Characters: Aharen-san and
...
Raido-kun are two starts of the show. One is small and shy while the other is huge and emotionless at first glance. They complement each other rather well, Raido being very skillful and hard working but lacking in social interactions while Aharen being superb mother figure and great cook/artist but being too shy toward other people to build lasting relations. Raido to that has great imagination which he uses to read the situation while Aharen is much more level-headed.
Beside those two there is Aharen's middle school friend, two of their classmates and from S2 start one more middle school friend join them. All of them together make the show truly enjoying, while the growth in character is not that big they all have some sort of issue and as the show progresses they are overcoming them one by one.
The characters in this show are all great and enjoyable to watch as they go form one silly situation to the next.
Story: Story is rather simple - a love is blooming between Raido and Aharen and we see how it is growing alongside many situations and obstacles that are appearing in the show. It is nothing more than that, a slow burn and wholesome love story. It is pretty much checking all the right things there: beach episode, Christmas episode, School Festival episode...
The story, while bringing nothing new, is rather standard and if you enjoy watching romance with a bit of comedy then you will enjoy this as well.
Final grade: 10 from me. I rather enjoyed the entire package. If there are some negative things I must add is that not all jokes hit when they were supposed to and we didn't get resolution for some characters.
I would recommend this show to anyone who would enjoy some good romance and occasional joke. If you do not like this kid of wholesome things then you can safely skip it.

This anime was great watch, shame it got bombarded with so much negative reviews because it does not follow the manga. Make no mistake, the anime plot and vibe is different than that of a manga but that is because manga itself is not following original LN as well. In the end, it is still a great show worthy of watch.
Animation and soundtrack: This is one of those anime where animation is not only very good but it's great when combat scene are included. The mix between 2D and 3D was so good that I barely noticed the differences. The animation was fluid throughout anime
...
and the battle scenes were done exceptionally well. I enjoyed every minute when MC and his students clashed swords with someone. Music was sadly not up to the same level as animation but it is serviceable with themes suited for medieval setting and vicious battles.
All in all, animation and music department - excellent job.
Characters: I just like unk Beryl. He is in his mid 40's and he is great character. But he is too humble, he reminded me of those Christian monks who live humble and have a ton of life knowledge with them. Others have noticed that as well and are constantly putting him in position that will recognize his good traits and allow him to grow even more. While being quite humble he is far from stupid, having great reflexes and knowledge how to react in certain situations to resolve the conflict. Only area he really lacks is love as he is very uninterested in it. Which is a bad news to many others who are gushing over him. Overall great character, a true star of the show.
Other than unk Baryl I really liked other characters as well. Lucy Diamond is a great mage who is so good that she decided to keep her young form forever as it suits her much better (must have at least one legal loli, right?). Despite her looks she is very smart and noble, whenever she and Baryl are on the scene the show is a good watch as they compliment eachother perfectly. She has a lot of knowledge as well and uses it well, to help others grow and get out of predicaments. If she and Baryl were to get married I would be more than happy to see it. Mewi is also great character, an orphan who lost her only family and is secretly a magic user. Beryl and Lucy save her from the life on the street and give her new chance at life. Her development from petty thief to upholding step-daughter was so nice to watch it melted my heart.
The rest of the characters are also good but they all have one major trait - they are all thirsty for Beryl. Starting from Allucia who is commander of the knight order, Surena who is master adventurer, Curuni who is also a great knight, Ficelle who is gifted mage, Rose who is vice commander of the Holy Knights and others - they are all well written and developed (especially Surena who's backstory is very tragic) and all of them thirst for Beryl. With Allucia and Surena clashing each time they meet and Beryl is present.
Overall this anime is filled with good characters and each of them got their own 5 minutes to shine and developed. Good job there.
Story: Now, the story of this anime is quite simple - about a humble sword teacher from the countryside who suddenly finds himself in the big city and starts his journey to fame. Only he is mid 40 and is not interested in any of it. As the story progress we learn more about the world and how it functions, political factions in other kingdom and how influential magic is as well as religion around it. The core of the story itself is how Baryl is meeting a lot of new people as well as his former students and his experience with them. And in that regard the story truly shines, showing how he and others are growing as a characters and how they overcome their struggles. It has wholesome moments and intense combat moments and all of them together merge into pretty good show.
Now, you have probably heard how anime does not follow the manga storyline, which is true. But then again manga is separate beast which is not only following different storyline but it also pumping up all events and battles up to 11. Good example is battle between Lucy and Yoiyami, in manga it lasts for two whole chapters in which they exchange blows and have such intense battle that walls around them are crumbling. In anime and LN the battle lasts for few seconds as Lucy is just too OP for him to handle, while in manga she still does the same thing but after engaging in combat for quite some time. Rather than compare them I see both manga and anime as their own separate entities and both are great medium to consume. If you have time check both of them.
Overall rating: 10. I very much enjoyed this show and will watch S2 for sure when it comes out.
I would highly recommend this show despite the hate it gets here. And rather than saying to try one or another - give a shot to both manga and anime as both are worthy of your time.

Man... I have never seen anime that cause this much rage in the community. What a milestone to get to, eh? The author either does not know how humans function as a species or individuals or he does and he wrote them in such a way to just piss people off. Funny thing is that both of these statements can be true. :)
Animation and music: Very good. The animation was fluid and great to see, a true eye candy in some scenes. Music was good despite not having some unique tracks I would remember later on in life. Overall, I wish every anime has this
...
level of standard quality.
Characters: Now, this is where the show truly shines. Love it or hate it you cannot say that it's rooster of characters is quite.... unique... You don't know who is more insufferable or deserving of more hate. I will do most of my review here just so that you can get a picture what kind of gem this really is. And to start things easy I will talk about likable and good characters first:
Hibari - FMC's big bro. The best character in the series. Serious and caring grown-up who is always there for MC and others to help them out. The faults he have are either trauma from the past (I will get to Kureha) or his little sister's mischief. The unsung hero of the series.
Shinji - while scummy and egoistic he really tries his best to help out others - even if it backfires hard sometimes. I was kind of neutral toward him but after his actions in the last episode I accepted him as a good guy who needs to work a bit on himself.
That was the good characters, now let's start with all the bad ones....
Yuu - MC of the series. Standard shy and uninteresting guy who has a talent for creating fine art accessories and that's about it. This guy needs to grow a spine and get his emotions in check. I cannot blame him 100% as his current situation is not entirely his fault (I will get to Sakura as well) which brings me to...
Himari -FMC of the series. Man, she really is something... This girl put so many red flags at the start of the show you would think you are watching Chinese military parade. Highly narcissistic, egoistic and selfish she is for better or worse the main star of this show. While she has unique traits that cause a lot of funny moments the way she acts and clings to Yuu is why he is like that. She 'claimed' him at the start and is keeping him on short leash while saying that she is his 'best friend' and will marry him if he stays single by 30. La Toxica incarnate, in fiction it is alright as it is so much fun watching her mischiefs but in reality you would stay away from this girl as far as possible. Oh, she is also in love but always sabotage herself in one way or another only yo make a dramatic fuss later on and frag everyone with her. Can you see why most watcher grew to hate her?
Rion - Himari's friend and Yuu's original love. Basically a third wheel in this 'romace' show. I kind of feel bad for her as she is madly in love with MC (enough to sniff his pillow in front of him and act like that is the most normal thing in the world) but Yuu could not give a damn about him. Poor girl confessed like 10+ times to him during the show and he still says no to her, what's worse she is ok with that as she thinks that MC will just magically start loving her at some moment. All while allowing Himari to have a shot on him as well. This girl needs some counseling in life and she needs to learn that other men exists as well and not just Yuu who is already claimed by another...
Kureha - Rion's older sister. If you think Himari was toxic... Man.... She is completely another level... I will just say that she was so toxic in her relationship with Hibari that guy outright said he prefers 2D women in life from that moment on. On top of that this girl uses money debt to blackmail minors into doing what she wants. If that alone does not tell her what kind of girl she is nothing will...
Sakura - Yuu's older sister. This girl is a perfect example of how older sister should NOT behave. She works in a local convenience store and has no achievements in her life, not even a boyfriend. And becasue her younger brother has not only talent but dreams of the future, despite being as shy and socially locked as he is, her relationship toward him is 'cold' to be generous. Not only does she does not care about him, offer a proper support, or even praise him for some of the things he managed so far - she openly sided agaisnt him in bet that would decide his future and (what most people missed in episode 11) forced him out of the house when her two sisters came by to stay. Kureha is not the worst character in this show because Sakura exists, if she was my older sister I would only speak with her trough lawyer.
I think you can understand now why Gigguk started to rage on livestream because of this show.
Story: the story is rather simple. MC who has a dream with FMC and their struggle to achieve it. Truly, a standard anime school life romance drama. Only thing is that drama here is tuned up to 11 which combined with the characters describe above makes this show a truly unique experience to test your blood pressure. Rather than talking about story further (as it is standard one after all) I will just note here few things I noticed while watching it:
-the way people act and cling to eachother is tuned up to 11. While that is done for humor I cannot help but ask does this place know about personal space at all?
-at some point during the middle of the story MC had a creator dilemma because two girls started spreading rumors that his accessories can make the ones you love confess to you. And when people got angry becasue of that it was MC that was punished despite him saying few times that is not true. The fact that school officials would not do their job properly and punish the one that has least guilt in it astounded me. Of course his sister also agreed with school becasue she hates him while any other would at least try to defend her brother.
-the most unrealistic part I find in this anime is how people still talk with eachother at the end despite everything that has happened so far. When episode 11 ended I was thinking about how any other normal person in Yuu's place would tell everyone except Hibari to f**k off and have nothing more to do with such community. Kureha would legit end up fined or in jail for trying to blackmail minors with debt and Sakura would live alone and not speak with her brother for the rest of her life if this was real world. And I think this suspension of disbelief is what made people angry at this show even more.
Overall story is pretty basic, what makes it unique is characters and how they interact with each other.
Overall rating: 9. I cannot lie, despite it's flaws I personally enjoyed it very much. It made me really angry at episode 11 but the rest of them were good watch. The drama this show created was enjoyable for the most part, at least for me.
Now would I recommend it? If you look at other reviews you can see that a lot of people (and I mean a lot) really hate the drama that was forced in this show. I would say if you are interested to see the level of drama that made so many rage - give it a go. If you do not like drama at all then this one is an easy skip.
