After finishing this, I'm still not sure whether I enjoyed watching it or not.
In the beginning I was slightly confused and honestly, it kind of stayed that way.
The concept isn't that difficult. However they keep it really vague and unspecified.

The ending was quite interesting, i think of all episodes I liked the last two the best. The rest just feels like an introduction to it all.

Why should you watch is? It's a quite unique anime with an interesting view on the world. If you like animes with alternative worlds, not too much in to detail fighting and where everything goes quite quickly, ... this is for you. Do watch this if you have nothing better to do anyway.

Why shouldn't watch this? There characters are somewhat shallow, the story doesn't go into depth, the fighting isn't intersting to watch, the concept of the whole financial district isn't too clear, there is no real growth, the protagonist is kind of overpowered but not in an interesting way, everything is rushed. Basically, if you have other stuff to do or watch, do that first. Come back when you're semi desperate.

Erased is one of the few animes which have both a good story and a conclusive ending.
The characters develop through the whole story, especially the main character is looked at with great detail. Some parts are a bit rushed in the story, perhaps because they wanted closure within 12 episodes. This especially bothered me in the last two episodes. The art work isn't something special so if you watch anime preferably for the pretty pictures you shouldn't watch this.
However if you want a story which deals with the difficulty of dealing with loss and not too much supernatural things but which isn't realistic ... either this would definitely be a good choice. It isn't super long so just give it a try.
