Scenes like that were very cool yeah, and there are a couple of sequences that I think were elevated by the adaptation like Tyrion's court scene and the rearranged "I will be your champion" scene

Regarding your superman comment I actually agree, the more I mature the more I realize how important it is that super man is the way he is, it’s why injustice and superman vs the elite are among my favourite superhero stories

Not strange at all for me. He feels more personal with Hisoka than Kurapika because it IS more personal. Hisoka was a part of the Spider and as such, an extension of himself. To be betrayed that strongly by someone that close to him must be devastating to him. Kurapika's actions weren't nearly that personal, nor a betrayal.
