sorry for the late reply, my parents left yesterday so ive been spending time with my grandparents

both my grandparents are actually mexican so they grew up speaking it, theyre not completely fluent in it though. they sometimes replace words with english while speaking if they dont know the word and they just call it california spanish lmao

nice, do u plan on reading any manga in japanese for practice? i know thats a good way to learn since its pretty simple to read most of the time + most shounen/shoujo manga have furigana

uhhh well first of all alaska has really nice scenery and the northern lights are amazing but i was convinced when i learned alaska doesnt have state sales tax or income tax AND residents get $700-$1000 a year from the permanent dividend fund. money is a dumb reason to move to a whole other state unless its for work but like.. less tax and free money... its tempting

ahaha thank u, i dont really do it as much anymore though. im not like an expert at knitting but i did make a blanket for my brother and a bag for my mom awhile ago. i thought about selling blankets i made but it takes so long the return on investment wouldnt really be worth it :X

im not really sure yet, in the past ive thought about moving to alaska (ive wanted to move there since i was a kid) or japan but its a huge decision and im conflicted thinking maybe i should just stay close to my family. im only 15 tho so i dont think i have to worry about that detail for awhile

damn i understand the problem with teaching urself. the program i did the last 5 years they just had my parents buy the books and the intention was to have my parents teach me but they have their own stuff to do so there was basically no accountability which turned out terribly lol. plus the books they gave me were super boring.. my science book was this huge 900-page college textbook like as if thats going to hold a freshman's attention span longer than 5 seconds
i ended up switching to online school this year cause i was practically skipping out on all my work which i admittedly regret, and i knew i could never graduate like that but hey im doing fine in school now so its all good ?
im still upset at the school though cause they wouldn't accept my transcript from freshman year so im missing an entire year of credits ill have to make up for over the summer just cause of their bad system :\ i even wanted to stay back a year cause i figured itd be a more rational option but they wouldn't allow it so whatever

yeah!! the main countries i wanna visit are italy and japan but also itd be super cool to visit russia, ireland, and a bunch of other places.
to be honest i have like shiny object syndrome? but with languages? ive started italian, japanese, latin, spanish, french, russian, romanian, turkish, portuguese, chinese, polish, and korean; unsurprisingly i havent retained any information from the majority of those lmao. i really wanted to focus on japanese but i decided to hold off until i graduate since i have to study spanish and theres no way i could handle 2 new languages at once

its kind of for business, my mom wants to do business coaching so she goes to a bunch of conferences to learn about marketing n stuff and my dads not really interested but he gets worried about her going alone so always goes with her.
right now im planning on becoming a psychiatrist but itll take like at least 12 years after high school so ive got a long way to go;; for awhile i actually wanted to be an fbi agent or at least a linguist for the fbi?? LOL i thought itd be so cool to join the behavioral analysis unit and catch serial killers.. i think i was watching too much criminal minds. i was also thinking of being a police officer for awhile but i think im too polite for it id end up like, "hi please stop selling drugs that is illegal alright thank u for ur time"

its kind of dumb but ive gone full weeb and really like vocaloid . i know its really easy to be like ew vocaloid fuck that moe shit BUT theres a lot of different producers and genres and a lot of the producers make super cool music like neru, maretu, kikuo, hachi, etc.
i think my all-time favorite singer is this guy called eve, his music and mvs are so good i love them. my favorite songs by him are as you like it, dramaturgy, last dance, and literary nonsense so if u want u can try listening to any of those!

tbh its my dream to travel and learn like 20 languages. i actually applied for this statewide program to go to spain for 6 weeks to study spanish but theres a lot of people who applied so im kind of nervous about it .. i guess ill see how it turns out haha
it kind of sucks cause my parents keep travelling without me when they know its like the one thing i want to do;; in the past year theyve been to florida, arizona, canada, and next week theyre going to tennessee too :\

i already mentioned im taking it but i really love psychology,, i love anthropology too and especially cause id be able to travel a lot but its kind of hard to make a living in that field so i decided on sticking to psychology lmao
