So, unlike most people who wrote their reviews on how terrible this manga is, let me tell you why I believe it is a good manga, good enough to be ranked as a masterpiece, and this is one manga which I will come back to read decades into the future.
Spoiler alert!
Note: I was team Onodera Kosaki since I watched the anime, and yes, I think this is a 10/10 even though that is the case.

a huge critic of art because I am not an expert in it. If the art is done well, I do not notice anything and just read through it, and if it is bad or exceptionally good, that is when I notice it. I never noticed anything about the art of the Nisekoi manga.
Story:
This is a story about what love is, driven by the characters. Without its characters, this story would be just another harem that you will forget in days. And whether you like the characters or not will determine how much you will enjoy the story.
With the mystery of who the promised girl is, a message that you should choose your own destiny, and you should have courage in yourself to make decisions, and the message of what love is, this story completely absorbed me and the ending had me in tears for days and every single time I read those last few chapters or the ones leading to them, ones foreshadowing the ending, I cry without fail. And it's not like anything tragic happens in it, this story will not hit you with death for the sake of sympathy.
Characters:
As I stated before, the characters are what drive the show, and if you do not like them, specifically, the main duo of Onodera Kosaki and Kirisaki Chitoge, this show is not for you. Basically, if you are not either team Onodera or team Chitoge, you will not like this show.
Kirisaki Chitoge - known for her nickname among Onodera fans as "Shitoge", her tsundere personality and slightly abusive relationship with the MC could drive you away. However, I, as an Onodera fan, have to admit that Chitoge is waifu material. She is cute, she is caring, she is fun. That last word is the important part. She is fun. This carries a big message. The author is basically telling us "Look, your lifelong partner is not someone who you just have a crush on, who you stay with because of her body, or because she's cute. You stay with your partner because you love being with her." And that is a very good message. In real life, those of us who enter a relationship with someone whom we do not enjoy the company of will inevitably have a worse off relationship than those of us who do. Choose someone who can make you laugh, who you want to be with because it challenges you, intellectually or otherwise. She is the Juliet to Raku's Romeo. She is what a more realistic version of what a lifelong partner is and should be. Not saying that she exists, but saying that if you have a partner and you have a good relationship with them, they will usually be someone who has the same dynamic with you that Raku has with Chitoge.
Onodera Kosaki.- my fav girl, and she will forever stay in my heart. She is too caring, too shy, and too kind for her own good. However, she is not realistic. There is no one in the world who would be like her. If you get into a relationship, there is no one who will treat you like her. She only exists in anime, nowhere else, and she represents what a "perfect" girl would be like. In a way, her love is the "fake" one. Nisekoi means "Fake Love" and really, that love is what Onodera's love is. She simply loves Raku for what Raku makes her feel, not the way that Chitoge loves him, as they have experienced far more than Raku and Onodera have together. Onodera and Raku's love is built on them wanting to be with each other because they both think that they do, while Chitoge and Raku's love is built on them having been with each other and having worked things out with each other.
Basically, Onodera represents the ideal and unrealistic side, while Chitoge represents the realistic and common side. Both sides have their appeals, choose one of these girls as your favorite girl, and I would find it hard to not like Nisekoi as a whole.
The other characters are not as important, but there is one girl who I feel that got the worst treatment of the bunch, and that would be Tsugumi, who I feel just got sidelined like an irrelevant background character, but otherwise, nothing to really say about anyone else.
Enjoyment:
As I said, I think this show is a 10/10. All those fillers that people complain about only serve to make me like my characters more. If anything, I wanted more of them. I like these characters and I like spending time with them. Never has a series ever made me feel this way up until this point, except for Kaguya-sama. Even if they are not plot significant, who cares? I am consuming what I enjoy.
I cry every time I read the ending. That scene of Raku opening the pendant and reading his and Onodera's letters is truly heartbreaking.
I forgot to mention that I also kind of got the ending spoiled for me by people telling me Onodera was not going to win. That, IMO, made the show even better as I was able to notice the subtle details that was leading to a clear winner.
Overall:
For anyone who likes romance, I highly recommend. This is my favorite Harem franchise, which isn't saying a lot considering I have only 4 shows that I scored as high or higher than 8, but this one truly stands head and shoulders above the rest, and even other stories from other genres.
This franchise is my 7th favorite manga/anime franchise, and that is saying a lot, considering I have over 400 animes completed.

The story, now this was kind of predictable, but so well done that it doesn't even matter. The plot twist and ending couldn't have been done better, an ending that left most of us with tears, not me tho, I just don't.
The art was good at times, and bad at others. The animation would skyrocket during the piano scenes, as they would use CGI and stuff, but during the times when it isn't, it gets to pretty low quality. The sound was great, one that really gives you goosebumps, one of my favorite openings in anime, plus the soundtrack that plays during their dialogues are top ... Nov 24, 2018

The story was good, it may feel bright during one arc, the next it will be dark. Though I do feel sometimes, the story was a bit too slow, especially during the last arc. It doesn't usually get boring. But it makes up for it with the not so common characters and settings.
The art was great, this is Mad House we are talking about, of course it is. The sound was good, not my favorite, but good. Characters are great, each one is different. They are just good characters. Some of them are openly selfish, but are written so well that it doesn't even make them ... Nov 24, 2018

Hands down, my favorite anime of all time, and I have watched a lot.
The story is filled with so many clever twists and turn, you never fully know what is going to happen, except for the ending, as bad guys never win. The art was great, nothing to complain about since this is Mad House, they never disappoint. The sound was probably one of the best in all animes, considering this is from 2006. The 1st opening and 2nd were awesome, both of which are extremely hard to animate, especially the 1st one. Even with modern technology it's pretty hard to pull off. The characters are awesome, ... This anime was just a masterpiece, except for the characters. Although this is supposed to be what if two random kids were switching bodies type of show, and the characters are relateable and such, they were just that, two characters that are relateable. They were nothing special really. Aside from that, the story was great, the plot twist was good, the concept was good, the only reason the story gets a 9 out of 10 is because of a few minor plot holes that could be explained, but weren't, so for all fairness, they count. One plot hole is, as many of ... |
