This was a well written anime. Not only was the plot deep and dark, but also managed to have such well developed and unique characters. This is not your typical anime nor would I say it can be classified into one specific genre overall it had very dark themes and all of the characters were either flawed or just evil. Elfen Lied is not for everyone, there are immense amounts of both violence and nudity. The Soundtrack overall was ok, it was supporting the more psychological and dark side of the show.
