Pair a MC who is proudly BORING and make him solve BORING mysteries and you get a BORING show.

I'm offended. After seeing so many reviews giving it an 8+ and being a huge mystery fan, I had high expectations.
Ive tried several times to watch this. I'm on episode 19 and I just have to drop it. This anime is just BORING. The "mysteries" are mundane things like "why did the dog pee in this spot of the lawn when they normally pee in that spot?" No joke.

If I hear "Ki ni narimasu" one more time I might go crazy.

The 2 side characters ... are more interesting than the main ones. Unlike the main MC's, Fukube and Ibara had actual character development.

Initially, it started off great. Very dramatic and engaging. I had not watched any trailers, read the manga, or done any research on the anime before watching. After the first two episodes the anime became progressively worse.

Cons:
-Typical overly-perverted male MC likes the shy female MC. Same perverted jokes over and over and over again at least 10 times per episode.
- Having a perverted grandfather fantasize and talking about rubbing his granddaughter's "butt and thighs" as she is sitting on his lap was neither funny nor enjoyable. This joke continues for the rest of the series.
-Great first episode execution, but the story lacked substance afterwords. ... The drama was piss-poor after the first episode.
-The character traits were pretty cliche and boring. Supporting female character likes the male MC, but the male MC wants the female MC. They weren't unique at all.

Pro's:
-The first half of the series was actually good.
