The 4th season has now ended, question is... was it good, short answer, well obviously, slightly longer answer -
Just like the previous three seasons, the 4th was just as good, introducing a new cast of character that are mostly written very well, my favourite being teruko.
The story continues basically right after the third season, and in all respect it is better than the third season in many different ways, I wish I could explain why but I do not want to spoil the story.
The visuals are pretty average though, just a run of the mill anime visually, but, it does have it's moments when

I don't really care for this anime, the first season caught my attention a tiny bit, but watching the second season felt like time was getting slower, each episode felt like an eternity, it wouldn't be so bad if the story wasn't so bland and unintersting, when the main character does something spectacular for the hundredth time it doesn't make it exciting, it's just like oh there's another power to the other list of powers this guy has.
The characters are honestly in my opinion the worst part, they are so... what's the word... 1 dimensional? just gross, I would like some flavour, I know it's ...

Let's keep this short and concise.
I haven't watched the OG Trigun series, BUT... This series alone makes me want to watch it and see how it differs. What I don't see talked about is the series' beautiful OST, they all blend like it's breathing new life, every time I hear the magnificent piano play, I almost ascend to a higher plane of existence haha. The visuals aren't anything to neglect either, this time around they use 3D visuals, unlike Beserk 2016, Trigun Stampede accomplishes this style perfectly, throughout the series it was very colourful and vibrant, very easy on the eyes, not once did I question what ... |
