Okay, I tried to watch Love Hina two times in my life. Once when I was still in school and one time roughly three months ago.
I have watched Ranma 1/2 and Tenchi Muyo as well and while those two animes were quite enjoyable to me, I just stopped Love Hina because I couldn't stand it anymore as this anime punches me right into my feelings for justice.

hired to work at Hinata Inn, which is a dorm for girls only. And there he just stumbles from one awkward situation into the next, often even without his own fault, but everyone sees him as the devil and punches him into the face.
Of course this is made worse by Naru Narusegawa, the definition of a Tsundere. Whenever she is around and some stupid randomness put Keitaro into another embaressing situation, fists fly and Keitaro is the victim. Always, no exception. At some points it is Keitaro's own stupidity which brings him into those situations, but as I noticed that more and more he is punsihed just for the sake of it, I couldn't stand it anymore. Especially when Naru is taking her own failure in life out on Keitaro because of her own insecurity or whatever.
Compared with Ranma and Tenchi Muyo, Keitaro has no way of fighting back and just has to endure it all, mostly running away from the girls that keep on harassing him. While Ranma was still quite tough and fought back with Akane (even in Girl form) and in Tenchi Muyo it was more the girls fighting each other over Tenchi, the one-sidedness of the story and the repeated nonfun of seeing Keitaro getting punched and kicked made it unbearable to watch and finish.
The Voice actors and the sounds and music are okay and nothing bad or super good, but they don't save Love Hina from bad Tsunderes (Naru and Motoko mostly), bad plots and bad humour.
