Stories that show a lot of heart are great.

Rating is difficult.

I try to make use of the full 10 scale rating, but we typically only consume media we think we will like and often ignore or drop the ones we think we won't enjoy.

When I rate, I try to take my own subjective tastes as well as "objective" criteria into account.

If anything, I guess my list is consistent with one thing. An anime I rate with a certain score is "better" than everything below it, and "worse" than everything above it. At least according to what I feel about it :^).
