At least the VN tried to have a good story (and party succeeded with Nemu’s story, even though the rest sucked)

What is this mess? Why did they bother changing the plot and sequence of events to make it worse?

If you like shocking h-scenes with graphic and depraved kinks, just read the VN. The h art is better, the scenes are way more detailed and graphic, etc etc, you’ll even get a few good story/character scenes sprinkled in.

This OVA is just the VN but much worse, there’s literally no reason to watch this.

But Euphoria as a whole is carried by the “shock factor”, it’s lacking in ... substance, so it has to shock you with depravity to keep your attention.

Sad thing is, the h-scenes aren’t even that extreme in the first place, so it’s not like this even appeals to really hardcore people. Those people are off reading Dasaku or something, which - just like Euphoria, does rely on shock factor, but has actual substance and themes it wants to communicate through its depravity, the MC of Dasaku is basically Keisuke if he was a half decent character.

P.S. If you have the time to entertain watching this, just read the VN. If you have time to entertain reading the VN, go read a better VN.

Tsui no Sora can only be described, as perfection.

The author, Sca-JI, peaked with the creation of this grand masterpiece. Subahibi and Sakura no Uta look like complete trash in comparison to the mastery Tsui no Sora has achieved.

In fact, Subahibi isn't even needed as a remake, when all it is, is a downgrade.

The OVA is an excellently told story with great philosophical themes somehow fleshed out immensely within its 24 minute run. Where as Subahibi drags on and on with Ayana spouting nonsense everytime she appears on screen, Tsui no Sora communicates everything Subahibi fumbles at effectively in 24 mins, as opposed to reading an ... 80 hour VN to hear the same shit told to you but in a worse way.

Mamiya Takuji's godly being is on full display in this OVA. Who needs something as stupid as the character development, or motivation, or build up for Takuji like in Subahibi, we don't need any of that shit, it's a waste of time. Tsui no Sora doesn't waste our time with snoozefests like that and instead gets straight to the point.

Overall, Tsui no Sora is an excellent, thought provoking metacommentary on whether Australia was right to ban hentai. If you're considering reading Subahibi, don't waste your time and watch this instead.
