I have been watching anime for about a year now... an otaku friend of mine suggested that I watch it and I don't regret it one bit if you like anime that connects with you mentally and emotionally then this is one for i highly recommend.. Its not gonna make you cry like {clannad or angel beats} but this anime deserves some type of recognition.

STORY ~ 10
To sum the story up...
" YURI ON ICE, focuses on a 23 year old gifted Japanese skater who has met his defeat in the final of a grand prix competition. Which forced Yuri to

put his skating career on hiatus, still inspired by his idol victor Nikiforov, one day Yuri attempted to mimic victors routine in a ice skating rink, which he then was captured on video instantly becoming a internet sensation which caught the attention and interest's leading victor to be his coach thus helping him persevere with his dreams and aspirations...
This anime has a lot of concepts attached to it, if you are not paying attention and actually interested in the anime then you can find that there are certain psychological concepts that are not covered deliberately for instance the fact that Yuri has anxiety which tends to affect him while on the ice skating rink. Victor being depressed etc....A lot of people have a problem with the gay undertones that are in this anime which for me are quite enjoyable if very soft and its not forced however a person can watch this anime how ever they choose but its not sexual at all. If that's what your looking for this anime is NOT A YAOI!!!!
ART ~ 10
The art was so beautiful and pure that I had tears in my eyes, the art was very heart warming especially {Yuri and Yurio's} rehearsal's / solos were to die for, I looked forward to the opening and the closing as well the opening was just amazing and I say that very strongly because it was, I watched the opening like a hundred times on YouTube before actually watching the anime, the art to me was the most captivating thing that caught my attention.
SOUND ~ 10
The music was flawlessly done, I liked the different variety's that was chosen during each of the skaters performances. My favorite songs in this anime would be {Yuri on ice , History maker and You only Live Once} I even gone as far to downloading the songs onto my computer, they were just that good. I also loved the accents and the voice actors that portrayed the characters in this anime.
CHARACTER ~ 8
I'm actually surprised that there was a ton of character development which was incorporated in this anime over a short-timespan, which also revolved around the fact that it was a competition was well done. The Character development between the main characters and the supporting character and character's that weren't really apart of the anime at specific time frames. Was just amazing, being able to have this many characters in a anime and have so much character development is so surreal. Each character brings a unique persona to the anime which is really interesting... even the egoistical character {JJ & Yurio) where intriguing.
ENJOYMENT ~ 10
I really enjoyed this anime the different genres of music and each competitor having there own underlying issues that they overcame which is pretty amazing. I liked how the competitor's got together and had dinner before the finals was just so amazing. The different styles and art was just so captivating and just understanding this anime could actually be inscribed into real life events.
OVERALL ~ 9.5

The art the music the character's the gay undertones, I loved every single part of this anime and I really hope for a season 2, the ended was so beautiful and I will put this anime in my archives to rewatch... even the anime touched and moved me...
CAN WE ALL FANGIRL ABOUT THE DOOGY TISSUE BOX... I WAS FANGIRLING LIKE HELL!!!!!

Ok First off I've been watching the Naruto series since {May 2016} at first i was not going to write a review, After reading some reviews i felt obligated to put my 2 cents.. This review will be very biased in, my opinion but i dont care.
Story 7 ~ We have two main protagonist (Naruto & Sauske) That are seen through the entire series and we also can also add in saukura as well as the rest of the supporting characters that get little to no screen time. If you watch the anime fully and completely then you can follow suit

with the story/ plot there are misinterpretations in the story plot altogether. It infuriates me and ill tell you why most of this anime is made up of fillers, not that i find fillers important but its more so a drag you have people that were dead showing up in flashbacks, the fillers are ok i can at least say that honestly they do develop and cover more so of the time when all the shonobi were young and other crucial points in the plot... I just hate when good parts for example naruto v. pain there was like a ton of fillers i was at the edge of my seat only to be disappointed.
Art 5 ~ What happened!!!! the art is terrible why did they get lazy tho???... the art is very flat you have stiff characters i wasn't really paying attention but when i actually did they looked like sticks talking, they got the characters flying in the air???.. moving forward i can say that i do like some of the sunsets that were really pretty and seemed some what realistic and some fights that really looked good and was vibrant overall they could have did better they got lazy and thats just that.
Sound 8 ~ Personally i love the sound some of the soundtracks like "closer, diver, and yellow moon that i was able to find on itunes and now i listen to them daily... some of the music is ok but i still listen thoroughly (so i can grab food so i can watch the next episode) lol
Character 6 ~ Ok in naruto shippuden theirs really nothing fun and giddy about it i must admit when i watched naruto i found it very annoying and extremely whinny but i continued watching it and it was very rewarding as i continued to go along with the story, naruto is not his same self there is really no humor in the series everyone is serious only sai giving us a laugh with his straight forward responses but there is little to know character development i just seen neji after 8-9 episodes like where are the characters that we all love and adore overall everyone grew up the same only thing i would say thats different is there attire. I wouldnt be surprised if urochimaru can back to life... moving on.
Enjoyment 7.5 ~ 8 : ok i wouldnt say that naruto shippuden is trash i did enjoy the breath taking fight scense that had me rewinding every 5 seconds even the waste land of of fillers that seemed annyoing or even the determination that naruto has to save his friend.. they could have just took more time to strategically contrast the art the characters being stiff and character have slits as a mouth...
( naruto passing out after sauske attacked the sumit had me in tears)
overall 8 ~ overall this is a good anime but i wouldn't recommend it if your constantly busy with work or school or etc. its very time consuming and if you dont have that much free time then this is not a good anime for you to try and be watching, you can watch a few episodes but the story plot takes so long to build everything started popping off at the chuin exams but dont expect for this show to have fight scenes every episodes overall if you have enough time to sit and watch this anime go for it.

I'm actually new to yaoi I've been watching anime for just about a year starting from the infamous naruto (series) going forward, I have a lot to say about this yaoi ... I have seen a lot of recommendations and clips about this yaoi so here is my opinion/review.

Story ~ {5}
The story seemed all over
...
the place, in the beginning it made sense just for a brief moment Haru visiting his mom but. As the story progressed it was honestly everywhere, Ren being raised by wolves? Ren's parents still a mystery... haru having a relationship with his under- aged brother (adopted) more then a sibling should ever cross? and ren reciprocating a love hate-relationship with haru is somewhat entertaining, cute and very uncomfortable (AT TIMES!!!) , the story got better but there were times when me as a viewer would get whip lash because of several misinterpretations for example the 7 year time elapse, Haru getting in a car accident, (moving forward) Haru telling ren that he had to kiss him when he left and got home from school and i cant forget when ren was being chocked by that over obsessed woman.. personally I had to go back and re watch some episodes because they were unclear and very vague.
ART~ 10
I honestly like the art a lot, it seems that they took time to strategically make out the characters faces, I love the setting in japan, the cherry blossoms outside the room Ren was hardly in. even the BMW Haru was ridding around ** spoiler** ( I know yall seen that BMW in the episode where Haru says Ren has a low sex drive) getting all the woman's attention I even liked the cute dog Ren always held.
Sound ~ 10
I loved the ending music it was very enjoyable, the music playing softly in the background giving the anime a melody vibe, Also the extra sound effects that the characters gave off was really good i enjoyed it.
Characters ~ 5
I have given my opinion on all the characters that were important in the animation.
Haru Kaido:( let me get start on this pedophile...) He is the older brother of shima, aki and ren Kaido he is very loving and caring to his siblings but is rather interested in his younger adopted brother ren his is very controlling we all can see in the beginning that he also makes sexual advances to ren but at the same time can be very caring and supportive ( AT TIMES!!).. he is rather sneaking and just his character makes me uneasy i had to pause the video sometimes because he was just going crazy (almost raping ren that night when he was drunk), him kissing ren all the time im surprised they didn't shower together but him masturbating ren was to much, his character is just uncomfortable but its "yaoi so its what I would expect".
Ren Kaido : A very anti- social boy, who is very naive when it comes to certain things.. (Not knowing how to release himself) he is very fragile and small for his age, can be very stubborn at times as well. Even when ren was trying to laugh was funny ... He has good exceptions but can be seen being very immature for his age " enticing Haru coming out the shower naked???" and can be very submissive at times letting Haru do almost anything to him also (Knowing his limits respectfully). I like Ren's character with few flaws it has.
Aki & shima Kaido: I honestly think the twins were very irrelevant to the story it seemed like they were just thrown in the story without further planning, only to be introduced later on in the story and they were disregarded a lot i wish they had more screen time but they weren't really involved with ren (except shima having dinner with him)... I think having them in the story-line for a brief minuet at a time also helped to give us a break from Haru (grooming and attempting to molest Ren) There were many flaws with these two character. shima and the girl he was tutoring had a similar a relationship to that of Ren and Haru that needed more screen time period.!!!
Iuyoshi Sasaki : He was "VERY VERY VERY" annoying to me, he just seemed like "a rat scavenging for cheese" in my opinion he never had his own money because he was always begging Haru to buy him lunch. but he did work so i give him that, he was so annoying and that cute name he gave ren (ren ren) was so cute and funny but he was more so the gossip one who honestly had organic vegtables and a profit on the store he was investing in with Haru going for himself.
Haruko D.Diechmann; she was funny, serious and had a interesting relation with her son Haru i like that she took ren in but, rather disappears when the setting takes place in japan only to be just thrown back in the story later on... (moving on)

It was ok very cringe worthy and im going to leave it at that.
Overal ~ 8
I liked this anime in-spite of the molestation's going on in the animation i would recommend it to ( Tv-14) for mature young adults, the art was great i loved the music it was an emotional, cringe-worthy, roller coaster i hope the twin brothers are incorporated more in the animation as we all await for season 2, im kinda excited i just have been watching naruto in the mean time overall i would recommend to watch... the manga was really bad compared to the animation thank god they left some of what they really did behind closed doors alone.
