Higurashi no Naku Koro ni

I still have nightmares about this series. At first it fooled me into thinking it's one of those cute, slice-of-life kind of anime, but I was WAY off. Basically this is a murder-mystery series set around Hinamizawa: a village said to be cursed where one person dies, and one person goes missing. Just like the manga, it is seperated into different "Arcs". It may look cute, but it ends up into a pretty bloody mess. I like this series so I gave it a 10 overall.

Well It's hard to explain. This is what you might end up if you put Lucky Star, Azumanga Daioh, and Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni in a blender. There really is no plot because this is another one of those anime that are nonsense. It's just the adventures of a boy and a club wielding angel that follows him (and occasionally kills him) around. It's not bad, but it's not good either. It's kind of enjoyable if you are into anime with little to no plot.

To be fair, this is not the worst manga-to-anime transitions i've ever seen but I could have expected better. Unlike the action manga series, this mainly focuses on more of a romantic-comedy ecchi base. Mainly to my dissapointment, is that it doesn't quite follow the manga story whatsoever. But overall it's okay but not so much exciting to watch. I would rather stick with the manga series.
