It just occurred to me to get one of these so I am slowly adding to it.
I read a LOT more manga than I do anime, but I'm pretty slow on both and usually not up-to-date or what's really popular at the moment.
I started reading manga/watching anime in middle school, so I don't have a lot of patience now for the kind of tropes that are more popularly aimed at that mindset.
I read a lot of shoujo, as the excessive dragging out of training/gaining new powers/convincing new allies in shounen storylines bore me, but that isn't to say I'm not picky with my shoujo preferences. I don't really do horror/psychological, at all, and it'd have to be a pretty good story to convince me to read harem.
I take a hardline stance on dubcon, and any series that spends more time talking about the characters' busts or lack therof instead of the characters themselves gets an instant rejection. And I am serious about the hardline stance.
