I liked it but there was this side plot that I felt had a bit of an unnecessary conflict. It was a fairly simple misunderstanding between 2 great characters (won't mention which to avoid spoilers) that I really liked and felt sorry for. One of them is turned into a murder crazy jerk because of a simple misunderstanding and refuses to listen to the explanation until she is dying and it's to late. The funniest anime I've seen. There's lots of references and they turn cliches into jokes, like there's this one scene where the main character needs a disguise so she uses that smoke thing that anime people get when they get mad or passionate about something and added detail as the disguise and then everyone else thinks it's some new trend and starts doing it to and you can see the background characters turning more detailed with manly realistic faces and you just can't beat the funimation dub, it was hilarious and well made as well. Awesome anime.
Great character development, animation, plot, voice acting (dub) and no supernatural,Sci-Fi nor fantasy just realism(which i prefer). The art is really good in my opinion considering the anime was made back in 2004. I also love that they used real firearms and call them by their real names/numbers. That adds attention to detail in my opinion. The anime doesn't censor anything either. It shows how war can effect peoples minds as well as deals with real issues such as racism, prostitution, corruption and more.
