Code Geass Round 2 is off to a good but confusing start that definitely leads you to want more, but is it enough? What we were left with in Season 1 was a sloppy story that degenerated into almost nothing. Round 2 attempts to pick up the pieces and put them together, but the first six episodes are seemingly just as confusing.
This is a temporary review, I will review it more later as the episodes come out.
So far though, the show seems to take a less serious approach than the first round. We are left with episodes that don't really progress the story as
...
much as show Lelouch's personal life and the silly antics associated with it, but is that a bad thing? No it's not because the episodes are definitely enjoyable, but as far as story goes, they're just going in one big circle.
Round 2 starts out the same as Round 1, matter of fact, it is Round 1 minus Kallen/Karen being at the school. I'm hoping it will pick up though as it seems to be doing, but for now the story is seriously lacking and falling apart slower than it's being put together, which IS a good thing.
Hopefully they'll put it into full motion soon enough, like always the Characters are enjoyable and fun to watch.
So far R2 is great and better than R1 was, but let's see just how they handle it in the next 19 Episodes.
