First of all, the *big bad* of the show is not the point, neither is their obvious identity. If you watched the show and feel like that was the point of it and that you were robbed of your time, you just simply missed THE point. Or points (plural), as the show is about characters and their psychology (which is actually done extremely well here).

There really isn't much to talk about that wouldn't include heavy spoilers - the characters are written masterfully, their voice acting is top notch, the creative mind behind the show has done their homework (there is a lot of minute detail, ...

This is where I drop the series.

For me (as well as many others) the first season was an announcement for a great franchise. It was extremely promising - great characters, an original and fascinating world, decent art and sound with some pretty good action and animation. The writer wasn't afraid to kill-off a likable character, erasing them from the main cast, in order to progress the story, convey a message, develop a different character, etc..

But after the first season the writer has changed, and with that change a slow, agonizing death of a franchise has begun.

86 Part 2 (Anime) add
Preliminary (9/12 eps)
This will be very short and to the point, written for the first 9 episodes.

It's more of the same, the plot thickens, but it's super slow and not a lot is happening really. We get a deeper look into some of the main cast, as well as some new lead characters. This part is also a bit more visceral when it comes to action scenes.

I am also afraid that it might end uneventfully, as if what we are told and shown is ultimately resolved, it won't mean much to those who took a massive liking of the first part.
