I have been a fan of FLCL for about five years now, so I was understandably very excited when I heard about this coming out. I thought, even if it’s disappointing, I’ll still like it because the music will be great.
TBH, it wasn’t that good.
FLCL progressive is like FLCL with all the best things about it removed. The Pillows don’t even sound as good. In FLCL, the character design was AMAZING (NINAMORI!) but in this reboot, they managed to make even Haruko more boring. The art is consistent, although some people might like that, and plain.
