This series holds a very strange place in my heart. I hate this series but also I can't say I've decided to try and fix my habits because of it. I would never read it again. It destroyed my mental state for a few weeks after reading it. I wouldn't recommend this to everyone because it definitely requires a strong mental state to take the emotional abuse this series will throw at you. It's a beautifully destructive coming of age tale. I would never read it again though.

VAGABOND
RATING: 11/10 This is my favorite manga of all time now. I haven't finished it yet, but I think it's my favorite so far. (I personally like it more than berserk.) It's a beautifully optimistic story touching on the nature of strength and the human condition. Such a beautifully written masterpiece. Takezo/Musashi really is my favorite protagonist, I've even been so inspired by him to the point where I've taken up meditation because of it.
