Idol na Kanojo to Wotaku na Bokuto is a manga about the relationship between an idol and her fan, in which the nerdy fan becomes the idol's slave, as the story shows they keeping this relationship while trying to hide it from other people. The setting is the idol scene in Japan, showing both the good and bad things about it, which is mostly pretty well known already, but can be revealing if you are not familiar with it. There are many things happening in the story, like a trial to decide who will be the idol group's center, the MC helping the girls in
...
the group when they have problems, and a look into Chiroru's past. But the best thing about this manga is the main couple scenes, the scenes of Tirol dominating Taku are really hot, and there are many funny interactions between them. You will think the guy is the luckiest man in the world. It reminds of Chizuru and Kazuya's relation in Kanojo, Okarishimasu, the characters traits and how they interact are similar. So I recommend it if you like Kanokari.
Shimobe Taku is the main character, a nerdy and spineless idol fanboy, who is willing to become a slave to have some time together with the idol he loves. This kind of character can be really bothersome, but I think he works well in this story, since he being like that is essential for the main couple's dynamic. And also, many people can relate with him to some extent. Agatsuma Chiroru is the main girl who Taku is in love with. She is attractive, confident and kind, that's why she is the favourite to become the group's center. But she unveils more about her personality only to Taku, showing a cunning and wicked side which she can't show to her fans. All the other girls in the group are interesting on their own as well, having different personalities and traits. Between them, the most important is Koga Nanase, the main antagonist and Chiroru's rival. She is similar to Chiroru, hiding a sly personality behind kindness, but even more evil, as she is willing to ruin her colleagues to become the center. Her goal is to be the most popular girl in the group and the center of attention, which is why she becomes envious of Chiroru. She is a great character as an antagonist and also develops as the story progresses.
The art is really good and a big part of why the manga is so enjoyable, especially in the ecchi scenes. The girls are beautiful and distinguishable. I recommend this manga if you like the premise and don't mind when the girl is dominant and abusive, as the best part about it is the relationship between the main couple, while the plot isn't that great.

Just Because! is a school romance about unrequited love. The main character Izumi Eita goes back to his hometown for the last semester of high school and reunites with his old friends from middle school, Natsume Mio and Souma Haruto. Now, with graduation approaching and Eita back, they have their last chance to face their unresolved feelings from middle school times.
This anime is different from most romance animes as it's not upbeat and colorful, but rather realistic, soothing and even melancholic at times. That's not to say it's boring, the story is thoroughly interesting and is filled with funny, wholesome and emotional scenes. Each scene
...
is important to the plot somehow and keeps you intrigued about what happens next, which is expected from a short original anime, since there's no need for fillers. The main reason for it being so good is the characters and their relationships being so well presented, so you can quickly like and care about each of them. Another thing is the development. As the story progresses, the characters and their relations change a lot, the anime was perfect in this regard. I recommend if you like romance and want something more realistic than most romance animes out there.
Spoilers ahead.
Now, even after many good things that happened in the anime, many people would say it's bad because of its end, since we don't get what we want. And it's understandable to some extent. The fact Eita ends up with Mio and not Ena is upsetting. Not because Ena is a better character than Mio, but because the romance between Eita and Ena was so much better developed. In hindsight, it was obvious from the start that Eita and Mio would end together, they are the protagonists, clearly above the others. And most of all, Ena was the only one among the main characters who wasn't about to graduate, so it makes sense she is "left out"; and also, maintaining her group and winning the prize felt like a satisfying enough conclusion for her, while Mio didn't really have anything like that. But still, the scenes between Ena and Eita were so great, that while I was watching, I thought maybe the author would actually go for it, especially since this anime feels so different from others, maybe we will get some different conclusion for a change. But no, in the end, it was the most obvious conclusion. And to be fair, the romance between Eita and Mio is not bad either, it has many good moments, like in episode 7, when Eita helps her arrive on time for her entrance exam. Or the fact that despite Mio liking another person and indirectly rejecting Eita, she still wants him close and doesn't want him with another girl, evidenced when she tries to prevent Ena from dating Eita. She is a cute tsundere. And also, the fact that Eita keeps liking her through all the anime, despite knowing she likes Haruto, having his heart shattered in the "kankei nai" scene. It was shown that his love for her was unwavering, and he would always be there for her. When you think about that, Ena never really had a chance, and Eita never showed any signs of having feelings for her. Even though he grew to like her more and more, it never became romantic feelings. Furthermore, yes the ending can be disappoint, but that's because we care about the characters and root for something to happen. That can only happen when the characters and the story are good enough for the viewer to be invested in. That proves the storytelling was great, and I don't think it's right to say the anime is bad just because the end you wanted didn't happen.
Eita is the reserved protagonist, he is calm, considerate and helps his friends. His personality is akin to the likes of Hachiman and Houtarou, except that he is a bit kinder and friendlier than them. He seems aloof and dull at first, but starts showing more emotions through the anime, especially in his relationship with Ena. It's a decent character if you don't hate this type, but he doesn't stand out as much as Hachiman and Houtarou, maybe because he is too simple, lacking a quirk like the others. But perhaps this is a good thing considering the realistic atmosphere in this anime. Haruto is Eita's best friend, his personality is basically the opposite of Eita's, he is outgoing, unreserved and a bit obtuse. Except when he is facing the girl he likes, Morikawa Hazuki, then he becomes shy and selfaware, it's cute and funny seeing he changing his behaviour when around her. The good thing about him is that he is straightforward and takes the initiative, even being humbler than the others, as shown by the fact he doesn't go to university like the others. Hazuki is the girl Haruto is in love with, but who is not interested in love. She is the Yamato Nadeshiko, kind, quiet, beautiful. Hazuki is the perfect girl who anyone would want as their wife, so it's understandable Haruto falls for her. Even the fact she has three younger siblings and takes good care of them highlights that she would be a great wife, yes, she is too perfect. She also has great development, learning to care more about herself and becoming more assertive. It seems like Haruto's confession was a turning point for her, even though she was not interested in romance. Haruto should be grateful that he only has to wait some years for her, because it would be worth a lot more. The next girl is Komiya Ena. She is not perfect like Hazuki, but her personality will make you fall in love with her. She is cheerful, clumsy and adorable. Her relationship with Eita was the best part of this anime. The contrast of their personalities, the fact she slowly gained his affection, even though he kept her at arm's length at first, everything was too perfect. It also has the best progression, it was not predictable like the others. They were just strangers, then slowly becomes friend, until romantic feelings arise. And the fact it seemed such an unlikely couple at first just makes it better, it's endearing the fact they grow great chemistry. Here is the only unrealistic thing about this anime: how didn't Eita fall in love with Ena? It seems impossible.
And finally, Natsume Mio. Different from the other main characters, Mio is not pure and idealized. She has insecurities, can't make up her mind and act upon it, has envious moments and you could even argue she is evil sometimes. But that's why she is actually a good character, she is real, maybe too real. Mio is the reason for most of the drama in the anime, all the relationship problems are connected to her somehow, so she is an essential character for the story. The problem with Mio is that she is a bit empty compared to other characters, since she doesn't really have a passion like the others. Ena has her group and photography, Haruto has baseball, Hazuki has music, Eita has... Mio, and she doesn't have much. Even her choice of university was just her imitating her sister. Well, at least here there's a development, she changes her choice after deciding she was not going to chase after her sister, and would make her own choice. But the problem is she just chose Eita's same university instead. All she had going for her was focusing on studies, but it turned out she was just using it as an excuse to take action. She has some faults, surely, but she is probably the only character who seems real, not idealized and imperfect. If people hate her, maybe they don't want a realistic character after all, so they shouldn't complain about plain and one-dimensional characters. It's understandable to dislike her at some points, like when she tries to hinder Ena, but her actions are understandable, even if they are not correct. I disliked her while I was watching, but after finishing the anime and thinking about it, I see that she was actually a good character. Ena and Eita would still make for a better couple, but Eita and Mio is good as well. It's like a clumsy couple of teenagers making mistakes until they finally understand they love each other. And I admire Eita waiting for Mio to solve her feelings for Haruto, and being there for her, even if he was the second option. That shows he truly loved her.
The art was fine. It's pretty simple, not too colorful and bright, which is pretty suitable for a realistic romance like this. The animation is not what stands out in the anime, but it was good most of the time. There are some moments when the characters' faces look weird, specifically Eita's face, just look at his nose, but it doesn't look too bad.
The opening "Over and Over" is sung by Yanagi Nagi, there's nobody better than her for anime openings, the song is great and the lyrics fit with the anime themes, and the visuals are beautiful too. The ending is sung by the female characters' seiyuus and it's always a nice touch when animes do this, since it feels like the characters are singing it. The lyrics were fit as well, considering their hesitation when facing their feelings, especially for Ena, since she avoided getting an answer from Eita all she could. The seiyuus were all great, without exception, which was a surprise, since they are not famous nor have many roles in other animes. Isobe Karin as Mio was remarkable, it was so good to hear her voice and it definitely did a good job in giving life to the character. The OST is excellent, there are many memorable songs, which made for outstanding scenes. Such as, the scene of Eita and Ena meeting in the train station when it plays "yasashii hito", or that scene in episode 4 when Mio says to Eita "kankei nai", another epic scene that was enhanced by the OST, when "glass kara afureta mizu wa" played.

It's as good as any episode in the first season. This OVA focuses on the students who didn't pass the auditions, especially Hazuki, the main character here. We see what they were up to while the main band practiced, things like choosing their group's name and making the presents they gave to the band in the last episode. At first, I thought it would just be a light episode with some cute interactions, which would already be pretty satisfying for me. But there were many touching scenes with Hazuki, Shuichi and Natsuki that were great combined with the beautiful visuals. It also shows Taki-sensei supporting
...
this group, which was missing from the first season, when it felt they were just abandoned.
The animation is top-notch, just like in the first season and anything created by Kyoani, it's enjoyable to watch even when there's not much happening becaue it's so beautiful. They used the same opening and ending, and again the OST is really good and complements each scene exquisitely. Recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the first season. I think this completes the series well and it's not just a useless filler. And especially to see more about Hazuki, considering this is probably the last time she receives the spotlight, since she was not a main character anymore in the sequel. For just an additional episode, it was a lot better than I expected.

This is one of the most overhyped animes ever. You would think it's a masterpiece, considering how popular it got and how much it has been praised. It's crazy how many people deceived themselves into thinking this anime is good and also tried to deceive others. You could see this everywhere while this show was airing, from Anya memes to girls cosplaying Yoru, it seemed like everywhere people were trying to push it like something great. Personally, I didn't have high expectations about this anime, even with so much hype, since people like to hype so much bad animes, but I didn't think it would
...
be this boring.
The story is about a spy Roido who attempts to have a fake family to complete his mission. It just so happens that his fake wife and daughter are an assassin and an esper, respectively. The premise is interesting and could make for a good story, but it doesn't go far since the show is completely focused on the comedy, so it's impossible to take it seriously and care about the plot. That is made pretty clear by the anime from the beginning with absurd scenes such as a character arriving at a party covered in blood and just giving a lame excuse, without it being suspicious. So, knowing the story is not important since its a comedy, like many fans will say, when you try to criticize anything in this anime, we have another problem; it's not even funny. The comedy here is as bad as in a generic harem anime that you may find out there, but since this anime is so wholesome and doesn't have much fanservice, I guess it gets a free pass. Things like an insane oldman who has an obsession with the word "elegant" and using it to describe everything, a character saying they forgot to tell their family about their marriage for 1 year, this is the kind of comedy this show is able to come up with. And of course, Anya's reactions, like her shocked and smug faces, probably the most remarkable part of the anime. Another reason why the comical aspect is not great is because it relies too much on constrast, like Roido being a spy and serious guy while having to participate in childish antics with anya, or Yoru being a ruthless assassin while also being a lovable mother and an airhead. These disparities were funny and cute in the beginning, but it gets old quickly and makes the anime too predictable. You know Roido will do something stupid and careless when he is with Anya, despite being a perfect spy; Yoru will become violent and beat anyone to protect Anya, despite being shy; and Anya will do something to help using her powers, despite being just a clueless child. Those kind of scenes keep happening in different ways throughout the anime and you can see it coming from miles away, it's too obvious. One thing you could argue as a good point is the wholesomeness, since the characters strive to have a happy family despite the circumstances, but the problem is the characters are one-dimensional, so it's hard to care about that. And the scenes when it tries to get emotional feel out of place with so many absurdities happening all the time.
All the characters are flat. Anya is a weird kid, she is there to make weird faces and cute reactions, it's good for the memes, I guess, and a lot of people seem to be fond of her, but it was just annoying for me. Yoru is somehow even stupider than Anya and completely oblivious, that's her main trait. Also, she feels like a side character more than a protagonist, even though she appears a lot, since she is so shallow. Her backstory is unclear, even though it's inferred that she started to kill to get money and help her brother, we don't know how she feels about it or why she keeps doing it. Roido is the only good character, he is reasonable, cool and has a backstory, so we can empathize with him to some extent, but he also lacks depth like the others. If the main characters are flat, then there isn't need to mention the side characters, they are even worse.
The art was fine, above average but nothing impressive, and the animation looked good in a few action scenes. The opening song is pretty good, but aside from that the OST was forgettable, nothing that will make me get out of my way to listen again. About the sound, the best thing for me was Eguchi voicing Roido, a great performance like always, and he really tried to carry the show there.
I have reached the conclusion that this anime is overrated. Watch it if you want to know what people are talking about when they mention it, since it's so popular. For personal enjoyment, I don't recommend it.

That was pretty good, considering the amount of negative opinions on this anime. Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san is a cute and simple romcom with role reversal of the main couple. The main characters are dating from the get-go and show they love for each other. So, it's different from other romcoms, in which there's a lot of drama until the characters can finally be together. Instead, we get to see their lovey dovey relationship daily and their interactions with side characters without any problems arising, which some people could say is boring and maybe is one of the reasons why many people don't like
...
it. But that's something that many people ask for in romance animes when the characters only start dating by the end and it's not shown what happens after it.
The main characters are pretty straightforward, without much depth or development. Shikimori is the cool and strong girlfriend, who loves Izumi more than anything else. Shikimori alone is the reason why many people like the anime, and it's understandable. She is attractive, protective and loving. It's natural to fall in love with her and to wish she was your girlfriend, and that's also one reason Izumi will get hated, since people will think someone like him doesn't deserve her. Izumi is the shy and weak boyfriend. One thing that was bothersome was how much the anime kept repeating their traits over and over again. I get it Shikimori is amazing and can do anything and Izumi is unlucky, weak and can't do anything alone, so Shikimori always has to help him. That was cute and funny in the beginning, but it keeps happening every single scene, and you know it will happen again and Izumi will never be able to overcome anything by himself. It becomes dull at some point, especially when Izumi wants to do something for Shikimori, and we already know beforehand it won't work because of his bad luck. To be fair, the anime did a good job in the final episode turning it around, when his bad luck actually did something good for them, so there's that.
Nekozaki and Inuzuki are fine as the main couple friends, they have their moments in the story, but also lack depth like the MCs. Hachimitsu is one character that I kept wondering every episode "why is this character in the anime?", she is even more plain than the others and the deadpan comedy from her is not even funny for the most part. The only time she became a somewhat relevant character was in the sports festival. And finally, Kamiya. She is the only character that I can say has depth and development and her arc was the only time the story shows some seriousness and drama, she is the best character in the anime.
The art was good, the animation was stunning in many scenes, but also pretty plain in others. The opening is amazing, ending is pretty good as well, other than that I can't say much about the ost, there wasn't anything remarkable.
Overall, this anime was enjoyable, which is the most important, the interactions between Shikimori and Izumi are too adorable, they are enough to carry the anime and make it enjoyable. So I recommend if you are looking for a cute romance without drama, without a deep story or characters and if you don't mind the role reversal. It's definitely underrated because people don't like the male character being a weakling and relying on the girlfriend, especially by insecure people who want a weak girl to be saved by the strong boyfriend, and not the other way around.

This review contais spoilers.
The story starts showing the main squad still alive in the Federacy of Giad, expanding the world introduced in the first cour. This part shows that the Federacy is ethnically diverse and a place where the Eighty-Six will be respected, it's a great contrast with the Republic. It shows their struggle to fit into society, where they can finally have a normal life, but it's clear that they can't just forget their past and start a new life, so they go back to war eventually. The story is really good, filled with action and drama. It's thoroughly interesting and there are many
...
scenes that hit hard, specially in the final episodes that really moved me. The negative aspect for me is that it was hard to follow at some points, with so many different names being thrown here and there, and some dialogues that didn't seem to make much sense at all. Maybe you need to read the novel to understand it fully, but I don't think the story was very concise in the anime, and sometimes I had to turn my brain off and enjoy it without thinking too much.
This cour heavily focuses on Shin'ei, more than in the first cour, since Lena doesn't appear much this time. It shows more of Shin'ei's character and how he feels dejected and "dead", and he finally gets some character development this time. The other important characters in this part are Frederica and Kiriya. Frederica is the second most important character in this part, because she relates with the main antagonist, Kiriya, and plays an important role in Shin'ei's development as she has many insightful dialogues with him. She is also an incredibly funny character, so she adds comic relief, she is such a cute character that quickly makes you care about her. She also seems much wiser than she should be considering her age sometimes, contrasting with her childish side, which is pretty funny. Kiriya Nouzen, despite being the main antagonist, there's not much to know about his character, except that he has similarities with the Nouzen brothers and plays a similar role to Rei in the first cour. That was a shame, since he looks like a really cool character, and definitely deserved more characterization. Regarding the other 86s who survived the first cour, I feel like they needed more as well. They seem like a single character many times, the Shin'ei friends, always seen together and doing the same things. Even in the beginning, when they are shown doing different things in the federacy, it felt like many versions of the same thing. They feel unimportant to the story and can't do much by themselves, just being tools for Shin'ei in the battles. There's one scene when Raiden stands up to Shin'ei and a little of Kurena showing her feelings for him, and that's about it. I hope this changes in the future and they get their space in the story, otherwise they don't feel more important than those who died in the first part. This is the problem I have with the characters, the parts about Shin'ei were great, but it was only about him and maybe a little about Frederica, while all the other characters didn't have much going for them, even Lena was missing this time.
The art and music are the best things about 86 part 2, just like in the first cour. The animation is beautiful, as I always expect from A-1 Pictures. The characters, backgrounds and even the CGI robots are nice to look at, even though I still think it would be better without the CGI. The use of colors and cinematic black bars were great as well, the animation plays a big part in why this anime is so enjoyable. The OST is composed by Sawano Hiroyuki, who is already well known for amazing OSTs and he didn't disappoint this time, there are many epic tracks and they were essential in creating the atmosphere for the anime, in both action scenes and the emotional parts. The opening and ending are really good and I enjoyed it more than in the first cour, they are played by amazarashi and Regal Lily, which are pretty famous bands in Japan already, so they didn't just choose anyone to do it. According to mal, it is the first song Regal Lily does for anime, but I already knew them by the song they made for the live action of Aku no Hana which was great as well, so I hope I can see more of them in the future in animes. The voice acting is excellent, the seiyuus did a great job on giving life to the characters.
In conclusion, 86 part 2 is a great anime that has a lot going for it, but also has its flaws, so I don't really consider it a masterpiece like others. I recommend it to everyone who enjoyed the first cour, as this one keeps the quality. I think this anime still has the potential to improve in the next seasons and to deserve to be called a "masterpiece", and I'm looking forward to it.

Saenai heroine no Sodatekata Fine is the conclusion of the Saekano franchise. This anime only got better and better and this movie is the perfect ending, making Saekano one of the best harem romcom animes ever. I consider this anime a masterpiece because it was good enough to make me care about the characters and its story, to the point that I got emotional in many scenes, it made me laugh and cry many times.
Spoilers ahead.
The story pick up when the second season ended, focusing on the problems that were introduced in the second season, that is the development of both Blessing Software's game and
...
Utaha and Eriri's game. But the true focus of the movie is the conclusion of the harem, that is to say Tomoya and Megumi's relationship. It's no spoiler that Megumi wins the harem, since it was obvious from the get go, and the movie finally makes their relationship comes to fruition. While the previous seasons had a lot to do with Utaha, Eriri and even Michiru, often making Megumi look like a side character, this movie is Megumi's show. I never thought Megumi was the best girl in Saekano, or even a likeable character. As the title says, she is boring, doesn't stand out like Utaha and Eriri and had little development in the first two seasons. But that's not the case here. It's hard not to fall in love with Megumi in Fine, even if you don't have her as the favourite girl, she has the best development in the series, finally acknowledging her feelings and acting on them. The scenes between Tomoya and Megumi are the cutest, there were so many memorable scenes with them in this movie, the romance aspect was top notch. It's cute how they keep dating for the sake of developing the game until they realize and admit they really have feelings for each other. As for Utaha and Eriri, they finally become good friends, following the trend in the second season, making for a really funny couple and many hilarious scenes. It's great that they finally accept Tomoya and Megumi's relationship and support Megumi, instead of trying to ruin their relationship, like in other harem animes.
The only thing I thought was missing in the movie was, once again, Michiru. She was one of the girls in the harem, but got as much screentime as the other girls, which is a shame as I think she had great potential. This movie also has a lot fewer ecchi scenes, compared with the first and second seasons, which was ok for me, since it was more focused on the pure romance of Tomoya and Megumi.
The art is really good. It was already good in the previous seasons, but it improved in the movie, as should be expected. It's not KyouAni's level of greatness, but it's really nice to look at. The sound was perfect, the insert songs "ULTIMATE♭" and "DREAM TEAM TRIANGLE" were great and used to create emotional scenes. The former in the scene when Tomoya confesses his feelings to Meguri, and the latter in the scene when Utaha and Eriri come to termis with losing Tomoya, it was a very emotive scene, specially for Utaha and Eriri's fans. And finally, the ending song "glory days" by Luna Haruna, which was the most remarkable song of the movie, just to make the fans cry listening to it and remembering all the anime. Voice acting was great as well, the same as in the seasons, since there are no additional characters. The soundtrack impressed me too, specifically "Hikitome" that plays in the scene when Tomoya decides to temporarily leave the Software Blessing to help Utaha and Eriri's game, when Meguri cries and asks if she should react like a 2d or 3d girl. That was one of the most impactful scenes in the movie, and the OST play a big part in it as well. The other memorable OST is "Oshimai", which plays at the very end, with Tomoya and Megumi as lovers with their friends, I couldn't think of a more satisfying ending.
In conclusion, this movie is a masterpiece. It's a must watch for all Saekano fans and everyone who likes romcom animes. I recommend it specially for otakus who can identify with the characters and understand their struggles, it's definitely more suitable for people who are already into anime and maybe not the casual viewer, as it has many otaku references. In the end, before the credits, Megumi asks if she has become the main heroine. Yes, you have, you finally deserve to be the main heroine after this movie. I love you, Megumi, even though I always thought Utaha was the best girl, but now I understand why people like Megumi.

Re:Zero kara Hajimeri Isekai Seikatsu is a popular and hyped isekai, and you would think it's a masterpiece, considering how it's held in high regard by many people, but it's an overrated and overhyped below average anime, and I can't understand its success. First of all, it's already really hard to enjoy anything about this anime, since the characters are so annoying, stupid and cringeworthy, specifically the two who appear the most, Natsuki Subaru and Rem. Subaru is like the typical dense shounen protagonist, except that he has zero charisma. Rem is the girl who likes Subaru for no reason, since he doesn't have any
...
redeeming qualities, she doesn't have any volition and her entire character revolves around Subaru. It's embarrassing because she is clearly created to cater to the fetish of people who are watching this and may relate to Subaru, people without any qualities who want a submissive girl to love them unreasonably. Their relationship was really pathetic, and the fact it took a big screentime made the entire anime boring to me. Emilia is fine, but she doesn't appear much unfortunately. Ram is fine as well, much better than her sister, at least she has free will, and I can relate with her, her hate for Subaru is very understandable.
The story already starts weakly when Subaru goes to another world for no apparent reason, nothing of this world is explained and Subaru doesn't seem to care much about it, acting mildly surprised at first, but then proceeding to acting naturally despite the absurd of it. And also, we don't get any information on Subaru's character prior to him going to another world, so the fact he is from the real world seems pointless. It could be just a fantasy anime, without the isekai aspect. Compare it with No Game No Life for example, in which the protagonists are sent to another world by another character who proceeds to give an explanation about the world they are entering into and its rules. Not only that, but the characters get proper characterization before going to the other world, and they act accordingly to that, adapting to the new world's rules. Moving on, Subaru is in this new world just being an average guy without any abilities, except that he always goes back in time every time he dies. This power is another thing that made it hard to care about anything that was happening in the anime, since nothing matters when he can always go back, every scene of him dying after the first one is pointless, you already know he will just go back, there's no tension, and it's the same for the other characters. The story tries to keep the tension by inferring that Subaru doesn't really know how this power works, so every time can be the last, but it didn't work for me, it's hard to care about the drama when the main character is dying over and over again and everything goes back to normal later. The epitome of it is the famous episode 15, when there's a scene at the end that is supposed to be dramatic and impactful, but why is that so, when you know he will just go back in the next episode and everything that happened didn't matter? Another thing about this time travel power is that you never know what time he will go back to. There's a checkpoint that he always returns to after he dies, and then at some point, when the author decides so, the checkpoint changes to another one and so on, it's just an excuse for bad writing. We could compare the time travelling in Re:Zero with Steins;Gate, except that Steins;Gate actually have good characters. The characters either have known each other for a long time or have had a proper development, so it's easy for the viewer to care about the drama. Another thing is that in Steins;Gate, the characters control when they will make the travel and to what time, so it requires good writing from the author to make the story concise and attention from the viewer to understand everything, while in Re:Zero the author just writes whatever he wants without further explanation. Regarding the subplots, since I don't think there's more to the main plot than the fact Subaru wants to go out with Emilia, most of them are boring and don't add much to the story. For example, the Crusch arc, was anyone actually interested in the fight with the whale? Everything in there felt out of place and nothing really interesting was going on. Take the Wilhelm and Thearesia's flashback, it's not that the characters were particularly bad, they were not, and it was actually good to take the story away a little bit from the annoying protagonist, but they don't have much connection with the main characters, so their relationship felt very contrived. One thing I forgot to mention is that Re:Zero is actually a harem, despite not being labelled as one, even the serious and straightforward Crusch started to like Subaru in this arc, for no reason, as per usual.
The art was good, nothing too impressive but above average, no complaints in this regard, and some characters have really good design, like Emilia who is very attractive. The sound was nice, the opening and ending songs are pretty good, especially Stay Alive, which is such a soulful song. There are some memorable OST like Rondo of Love and Darkness, which was the most remarkable for me. The voice acting was great, of course, since they got Inorin and Rieri for Rem and Emilia's voices. It was annoying sometimes hearing the characters' screams that felt out of place and overdone, but it's mostly the plot fault and not the voice actors, their voices are amazing.
In conclusion, I can't say this anime was very enjoyable for me, the story and especially the characters were really bad, so I couldn't enjoy it even though it has some good things going for it like the art and music. There were some parts of the plot that were enjoyable, like the Rem and Ram's flashback, which was my favourite moment in the anime. The beginning with Emilia was interesting as well, especially considering the deal with her real name, but unfortunately, it was not explained in this season and was just forgotten. I recommend it for people who like isekai and don't mind bad writing and appalling and stupid characters. A lot of people seem to like it after all, it just wasn't for me.

Aki Sora is a story of love between two siblings. So you already know there's incest in this manga, and if that bothers you, refrain from reading this. There are also other themes like exhibitionism, netorare, yuri and crossdressing, so it's not recommended for sensitive people who get easily offended.
Spoilers ahead.
The story starts with the siblings Aki and Sora's relationship being presented. Their love is so pure and candid that it's easy for the reader to fall in love and support them together, even though they are brother and sister. Sora is a meek, naive and levelheaded guy who does most of the household chores,
...
he is very feminine, considering his appearance, mentality and role in the house. Aki is Sora's oneesan who is beautiful, smart and good at sports, a perfect girl all around, but slovenly when she is at home, and she is the one who usually teases Sora. Both characters are likeable and their relationship is beautiful. It's cute how they rely on each other, Aki being the most dominant, taking the lead every time Sora is confused, and Sora taking care of his sloppy big sister. Throughout the story, it's clear they are the only characters who understand each other, since they can't reveal their relationship to anyone else.
After the first segment focusing on Aki and Sora, the story introduces many female characters, turning it into a harem, and in most cases it's not that the girl has romantic feelings towards Sora, but instead just wants to have intercourse with him for one reason or another. This harem actually strengthens the feeling that Aki and Sora should stay together, since Sora is always uncomfortable with the other girls, and usually tries to reject them, Aki being the only one who really moves him. One of the girls in the harem is Nami, Sora's twin sister. She is a tsundere and sloppy, just like Aki to a less extent, so she also relies on Sora at home. She is a really funny character, always getting angry at Sora's timidity and being suspicious of him and Aki. The reason she is in the harem is not because she has romantic feelings towards Sora, but instead, she is envious of him for being a boy, since she is in love with a girl, and that girl is in love with Sora. It's at this point that the story starts to get deeper than you would expect from a borderline hentai about incest, Nami's plot is well written and thought provoking, making you care for the character and get emotional over her drama. Sumiya Kana is the girl whom Nami loves. She is a kind, modest and pure girl, a typical Yamato Nadeshiko. I think her role in the story is usually to contrast with the twisted minds of the three main characters, since she is just a pure girl who loves Sora, but she also shows that she is capable of breaking this image if it is for being with Sora through the story. Next one is Satsuki Runa, the exhibitionist, an outgoing and licentious girl who doesn't seem to be afraid of anything. She feels kind of out of place in the manga and doesn't have a deep plot, but some of her scenes with Sora are one of the hottest, especially since she likes to dress him as a girl. The last one in Sora's harem is Himekawa Alice, the student council president. She is just there for comical relief pretty much and doesn't add much to the story, but the chapters with her can be good if you are into netorare, and her interactions with her boyfriend are pretty funny.
Therefore, there are a lot of girls interested in Sora, which is funny considering he is such a girly character, but it makes for cute relationships with the girls, resembling yuri relations sometimes, which is pretty refreshing for a harem. There is a lot of sexual intercourse scenes in the manga, chapter after chapter, to the point it gets tiring. Even though this is an erotica, I thought it was too much and a negative point, but it was good to give the characters depth, since each of the girls react differently when they are doing it, which is an interesting point to pay attention to. The art is great, the characters are attractive, especially Aki who I fell in love with on each page, and the author's drawings are distinctive, I have also checked his other mangas and their characters always remind me of Aki Sora. But what really caught my attention about the art was the sceneries, there were so many beautiful panels, you could see the author put in the effort in this regard, and it was great to build the feelings for the manga.
I greatly enjoyed this manga and recommend it to anyone who doesn't get offended by its themes, has an open mind and wants a good and unconventional erotic story, and of course for those who are fans of incest stories as well.

Nakitai Watashi wa Neko wo Kaburu is a movie about a dejected girl, Sasaki Miyo, who is so distressed by the world that she chooses not to be a human anymore, so she turns into a cat. The premise was interesting and introduced really well, making the story unique and engaging. To grant Miyo's wish, there is a mysterious character who looks like a big cat, and his enigmatic personality makes you curious about his intentions and where the magic that can turn a girl into a cat comes from. After she gets the ability to transform into a cat, the story focuses on her

relationship with the boy she is in love with, Hinode Kento. Their romance is really naive, which is cute sometimes, but other times it makes you question the characters' actions that don't make sense. I would say the movie was really good until this point, considering the technical aspects as well as the story, but it dropped in quality in the climax. I feel like it got way childish in the final segment, although you could argue it was supposed to be like that.
Both Miyo and Hinode have realistic problems and can be relatable for a lot of people, so it's easy to sympathize with them, Even though they way they behave sometimes can get annoying, especially Miyo, but it's understandable considered she is a confused teen.
The art was good, it didn't really impress me much, but it was nice to look at and I didn't think it was bad at any point during the movie. The sound was great, the main reason I decided to watch this movie was because of Yorushika's music video "Hana ni Bourei" and I was delighted to hear three songs by Yorushika during the movie, including "Usotsuki" and "Yakou". All the songs are great and were used well. Other than that, the soundtrack was also really good, giving a fanciful atmosphere to the movie. Voice acting was good as well, I especially liked Yamadera Kouichi's voice as the mask seller.
I enjoyed this movie for the most part and wasn't disappointed, since I didn't have many expectations in the first place, considering it's not rated particularly high. I think it was soothing and would watch it again. There are some sensitive topics the characters have to deal with, but everything is presented in a light way, without getting too dramatic. I recommend it to anyone, it's easy to watch and pleasant, without anything groundbreaking. It can't be too bad, unless you hate anime.
