I read the manga wayyy before the movie was released and this series is definitely one of my favorites. When it was announced that they would make a movie I was super hyped to see my favorite characters turned animated, but alas my expectations were crushed. The movie is too fast-paced, they had to chop off a lot of scenes that would help us understand the characters more, and overall it was super underwhelming.
