This might be one of the most unproductive comment spreads ever.
-It's interesting, so it's hype
-It's not strictly original, so it cannot be hype
-It's KyoAni, so it's hype

I'll say it now, as I'll probably do it in the final review of the series, listen: your story is interesting, and it looks like Kyoani will make enough changes for the better. However, it is worth mentioning that its history although it seems interesting, it is not original. The concept of android or robots with emotions that learn over time, or that even begin to live a kind of novel by the simulation of these emotions is an already well worn concept. I have nothing against stories with the same concept, only counted in a completely different way. Oh really! The problem is that people are creating serious expectations about this adaptation, not by history, but by animation.

I find the premise of her story excellent, she is really good. But it is not new! Unlike the fans of the studio, which I admire, though, without being an unconditional fan, I do not expect excitement. I'm tired of going to see "masterpieces" that were really excellent works from my point of view. From the little I saw of his work I can say the same; which is a great job but not innovative.

It is not very difficult to find works with the same theme, or as the precursor theme of the genre on the web. A quick search, and one can know the genres on which you relied.

Actually, being unable to get your book published by anyone else than KyoAni's label (Ka esuma bunko) is usually a big hint that your book are very crappy. KyoAni validate books simply depending of if they think that the ideas in that book are interesting for an anime, and then if they do make one, they usually don't really care about respecting the original material, since it's just here as a source of inspiration for their project.

I wouldn't touch anything published in that label with a stick, but YMMV.

Tthat's because it won the grand prize in the kyoto animation awards, that's the same thing that happened with chuunibyou.
It's how kyoani spot which LN to adapt.

damn. dis is just the creator's 1st manga yet they got it animated by KYOANI.
THE FACT THAT DIS CREATOR ONLY HAS ONE MANGA YET GOT IT TO BE ANIMATED BY KYOANI IS FREAKING AMAZING.

Is the creator a prodigy or something?
