My biggest problem with this has already been stated by all the other reviewers: it's incredibly disrespectful to the victims and their families. I know they had a little disclaimer at the beginning claiming it was meant to make you feel disgusted and enraged, but in the end it just made me feel sick.
In the most generous sense, this "manga" is nothing less than slimy, and I feel slimy reading it. Even still, I read all of it. I have an unfortunate habit of reading guro and ero-guro when I'm upset, and this one was one of the worst of those. I'm not a stranger ...

Hands down one of the most appalling and disgusting things I've ever seen I almost can't come to terms with what I just read. I literally couldn't read anymore and almost threw up. Not only is this true (mostly) but I find it horrific that this would even be drawn and sold to the public.
It's disrespectful to the victims who suffered through those atrocities and their families. I've lost all faith in humanity and I'm convinced God is dead or at least doesn't give a rats ass about any of us after reading this. I hope everyone who had a hand in making this gets ...

If you have heard of Mai-Chan's Daily Life, then you have heard of a guy that has made that manga named Uziga Waita. This guy is famous for VERY fucked up hentai manga. The one i mentioned is Mai-Chan's Daily Life. So, he is back and is making more manga THAN EVER! So, this manga is about true crimes that happened in Japan. In my opinion, Shin Gendai Ryoukiden is way overhyped as something truly disgusting and appaling. The most outrageous thing about it is that it's based on true crimes - it helps boast its notoriety, but that's about it. In the end, your mind will always outdo anything presented to you on a piece of paper or on the screen - so, after deliberately avoiding it for some time, I finally decided to read it - and what do you know, it's pretty tame and underwhelming. Waita is a hack, I can't see why people would praise his art, characters look way too cartoony and sometimes

This manga is a genuine fucking shithole.
you know that one anime thats been sitting in your "plan to watch" for months now? Go watch that instead of reading this garbage. The main reason I hate this manga so much is because it gets a kick out of Junko Furuta and the horror that poor girl went through in 1988 she was kidnapped by a boy named Hiroshi and then was subject to 40 fucking days of torture so brutal (by Hiroshi and 3 others) im not even gonna say it before finally succumbing to the torture and passing away. The main thing this manga is trying to tell us "don't mix the imaginary world with the real world" even opening with a disclaimer sat by just that, it wasn't meant to be erotic, the pain of the victims much more intense than in Waita Uziga's other works. The manga is not a black comedy unlike most of his works, as well.
The most infamous, High school Girl in Concrete, is probably why you're here. I got through it to be invited by another terrible story. Now High School Girl in Concrete is one that many have commented on, for good reason. The feeling of anxiety ...

I will be blunt and say this is a very BIASED review so if you don’t want that then don’t bother reading this, though you probably do if you are looking at the reviews since a lot of them share the same viewpoint as I do.
First off, i’ll congratulate this for being the first gore manga/hentai/whatever to actually effect me of some sort. I’ve read way worse but knowing that the first story was based off something that actually happened messed with me more than I actually expected it to. this has to be the worst manga i've ever read. completely unnecessary and does not add anything anything new apart from the grotesque scenes that do not bring with them any kind of transcendence or information whatsoever. it look like the author just play with his skill with the pencil to show this.
I would be lying if I said that the story has a lot of potential and yet it doesn't make the most of this case. it is genuine a lack of respect for the relatives of this girl. I wonder in what mind this was a good idea.. the biggest problem I have with ...

This is so fucking disgusting. Is pure fetish on real crimes and whoever says no, read it with their eyes closed. The author already has this reputation.
It just made me sick to think that someone took hours of their life to fetishize real abuse and death in comics. Gore is one of art demonstrartions for sure, eroguru can be made good artistically or with a message. but not here, here is for those who have a troubled head and no humanity. humanity is lost, we will only travel towards collapse. and the other stories are kinda gross and finish without any explanation? is kinda vague.
