Terrible manga. Now that I got your attention, do not read this manga.

The story is a 1/10, just a pathetic attempt at writing and has 0 substance to it at all. There is no meaning behind anything. This is just wishful thinking of the author and self inserting if anything. You never wonder what happens next and nothing does anyway since there is no plot.

The art is Good. It can be quite enjoyable but won't move your world.

The characters are dreadful, thus the 2/10 rating. All characters are shallow. They each got their problems but they don't matter at all and will only ... get elaborated on poorly, if at all. The horny little brother is disgusting and has no character progression in 40 chapters of the 41 chapter long manga. Same can't be said for FMC but she is so poorly written, I wanted to throw my phone at the wall at one point. After consistency for a big part of the manga her personality, emotions, feelings and behaviour suddenly change for no reason at all. Literally one chapter to the next. It was quite honestly infuriating seeing her suddenly turn slut for no reason. Worst thing is nobody will tell poor Tohru what happened. There just was an "eww" thought towards FMC and the little brother until the end.

If you want a consistent and neatly written FMC read "Gomashio to Pudding",
it is 1000000x times better than this manga.

If you dig a FMC with Sudden-FMC-Retardation disease and author self inserts this is perfect.

I haven't seen anyone make a review for this series so i guess i'll write one. This stories about a housewife who used to be in a biker gang but left it to get married and be a house wife. Some parts of the story are pretty lack luster, but its also very funny and so are the characters. The ending is a bit uhhhh....disappointing, a lot of the buildup to the main romance is just kinda dropped which makes it feel like it was just rushed. Overall its a fun experience but it may or may not be for everyone (mainly because of the ... ending).

This would have been one of my favourites manga had some elements been altered properly and the realism hadn't been half assed. The character were half real half shoujo-fied.

Komugi: the mc was an immature former delinquent with a knack to make anyone fall for her charms be it tohru ,his mother, his sister or of course the brother dai. She was like shoujo-fied onizuka. I just didn't like the fact that she was immature enough to not properly make dai understand and even had her heart flutter for him

Tohru: the husband who was practically present only as a name in all manga except for ... the beginning was in the rose glasses a perfect person who knew everyone in his family and komugi so nicely that he practically built the plot. He is so smart that he knows that his interference would lead to komugi not actually fitting in the family so chose to get lost and let her do the fitting herself. In reality he would be a pretty irresponsible person who thinks everything will work as he assumes. The fact that he didn't even had a smartphone or if he did he had switched to another one without telling anyone is actually bad so much that it is one of the most stupid points about this manga. And for reals who tf uses a tape to tell he's leaving for sooo long. But this was a manga so acceptable I guess.

Dai: the hormonal teen who is tried to be shown as a sharp and level headed boy who still falls for his to be sister-in-law. This contradictory part is the reason why he is hormonal. Even so I would've liked a cleaner end to his feelings.

The last thing that was the most unnecessary about this manga was yoshino. She was solely made to escalate dai's feelings. Had she wasn't there the development would be a whole lot interesting and entertaining rather than annoying. Also lastly I would've liked to see tohru once more and a wedding or either a married life scene so it would've felt more complete.

All in all this had big potential but turned out to be just an incomplete shoujo manga .

This is a shoujo romance centered around a former delinquent and her brother-in-law. Sounds exciting? Well, it isn't. Usually when you think about stories about delinquents, you think about gang wars, violence, and yakuza. There is none of it here. Despite that, this isn't the source of my disappointment. Sometimes you get these feints that lead into something unexpected and exciting. What we get is a woman who is ashamed of being unable to do housework chores. This could be funny, but this isn't a comedy. It is just a bland coming-of-age teenage romance. The main story isn't bad, but there is nothing special about ... it.

My frustration with this manga comes from the incredibly stupid setup. Tohru, the older brother of the family, brings Komugi, his newly wed wife, to briefly live with his family before finding an apartment for themselves. After the first few days he has to leave for one week due to work. Right before coming back he abruptly informs that he has to leave the country because of his job. He tells the family by leaving a cassette tape in the mailbox. At first I thought, perhaps this is an old manga. No. It began to be published in 2015. In the age of cell phones, why would someone record such an important message in an old medium? If he had the time to find a cassette tape and its recorder in this day and age, why not just call them by phone? Then throughout the whole manga not once he talks to Komugi or his family about the decision to just maroon her there. How he met his wife, why she loves him so much despite abandoning her, or what is their relationship like is never properly told in the manga. That is because Tohru isn't a character in the story. He is just a device to tell the story. He is like a very feeble crutch to a limping tale.

This is not that good of a story. The premise is pretty interesting: a former delinquent trying to be a housewife now that she is set to be married. The problem with the story is the entire catalyst is so out of left field and completely nonsensical that the whole struggle feels off. The turmoil that plagues the little brother is the real meat of the story, but the entire series ends just as quickly as it starts, leaving you with a weird feeling of being ditched. It's an ok read, but I'd just look to read through if you are waiting for something else ... to come around. Not worth trying to seek it out.
