I usually like these types of stories where a normal girl ends up serving the king but Azafareo no Sobayounin just took a chiché story and made it more chiché and predictable.
The characters aren't really interesting or original either, our protagonist Lukul is the usual innocent and sincere girl with a low self-esteem, King Julius is cold on the outside but kind and protective, and there's not much to say about the secondary characters: we have the king's right hand that helps the protagonist and some other that even if they are bad people, they end up changing to good because of Lukul.
The art ... design and characters are pretty but sometimes it's hard to tell what to read first on a page.

Overall I think if you want to read a story like this I would encourage you to skip this one and look for another one.

TL;DR: for me, this manga was just a good idea poorly executed. 4/10
