Most of the shoujo manga made by men were created in the 50's, 60's and 70's. Back in those days it wasn't out of the ordinary. The father of manga himself, Osamu Tezuka, created many shoujo manga, including the famous Ribbon no Kishi (Princess Knight). I've put together a list of manga written by Tezuka Osamu, that was officially licensed and released in North America/English. Some publishers are still active and have copies on hand, others are defunct and out of print, etc. This is a guide to figure out what a legitimate copy would come from/hints where to look. |
