This is an enjoyable and worth-while additional read for those who liked Alien Nine, but I still can't help but want to separate the two when I think of them. Alien Nine is a wacky story overall, but it feels as if it has a lot of underlying themes going for it. The original manga built up to a theme which I felt strongly to be coming-of-age and getting over one's selfishness to accept a partner in a relationship.
