This manga really touched my heart. From the description it seems a typical yaoi: Gay guy meets straight guy and somehow they fall in love have sex yada yada. However...

It is quite different and the story actually does touch your heartstrings in very pleasant and soft ways. It tells a tale about the pain of letting go, holding on and being honest with oneselfs feelings. Both parties have flaws that they need to overcome in order to make their relationship work. Not a single time i felt like a situation was forced or uncomforatble for the parties.

If you enjoy a sweet story about the ... struggles and beauty of a young relationship and dont mind the mandatory yaoi sex scenes you are in for a sweet treat with a bittersweet story.

The story itself wasn't bad and there is no SA or any love triangles however the ending is bad in my opinion. They never talked about moving in together or at least to the same city, the ML doesn't say I like you until the final chapter and we don't even get to hear the MC finally tell him how much he loves him and how he has been in love with him for so long but was holding back.

It ends with them just going back and forth to visit each other, and by "them going back and forth" it's mostly the MC who ... goes to visit the ML. The ML visits him once but even then it was a half day visit. I don't want to say why because it will spoil that, so overall the ending is so unsatisfying even after those tiny constant time skips we never see them decide to live together and instead just say that "this long distance will be hard" I'm sorry but who in the world wants to have a long distance relationship for the rest of their life BY CHOICE, normally people and couples from other mangas talk about moving in and who will move or if they can meet half way but these two never even thought of it as an option and the way they were already dreading not seeing each other for a month just shows that their future relationship will probably end especially when the MC doesn't speak up about missing him and wanting to see him after not seeing him for weeks/a month.

That aside the whole dad drama was just a let down, he comes back like nothing and for a while act like nothing even though he disappeared for 8 years and left him alone with NO contact whatsoever and then when they talk the father well it just felt like he didn't love his son but because his son was crying he had to say something. After all how can you love your son and leave him alone with no letters, calls or text or even visit once in a while.

I'm overthinking the ending but it just felt open ended or a bit incomplete. That aside the art is okay and the two main characters aren't loveable but also not ones you will hate.
