First off, it's manga about a matchmaking system for the youth by the Japanese government - Koi to Uso explores the conflicts that can arise with such a system while Sore wa Totsuzen, Unmei no Aite ga is a lighter, more positive take on the subject. This is not a common plot in manga, so when I started reading Koi to Uso I immediately remembered Sore wa Totsuzen, Unmei no Aite ga - which I had read a long time ago. It's like two different sides of the same coin. Readers who like the topic would likely be interested in seeing the different takes these two  read more

2.0 or Should I'd say Kuzu no Honkai... with lesser... unrequited love... with brighten light emotion and subplot scenario which contains... affection you truly reciprocate one sided relationships.

Both of them raised the theme of matchmaking. The main character falls in love with a childhood friend. But all that cannot be achieved because it has a partner determined by the system.

Both are about a guy forced to take on a relationship with a girl he barely knows while having a crush on someone else. Writing style of Koi to Uso also gives me Nisekoi vibes. Basically, I am enjoying Koi to Uso in the same way I enjoyed Nisekoi. Yeah, I know this isn't a long recommendation so I'm going to pad this out so you feel as though you really spent your time well by choosing to read this. Do you like kofun? Because boy do I know someone that does. What is kofun you might ask? I really don't know. Seriously, what  read more

Both have the same main challenge about deciding which girl to choose. with domestic na kanojo having more mature content and some conflicting shenanigan. i think both still share same core value

I actually find them quite similar in some aspects: - In both we have at least one of the leads being bad at communication with people: Ririna in "Koi to Uso" and Nanami in "Real mo Tama ni wa Uso wo Tsuku" - They are more about romance and relationships than a plot. While they have some plot initially it doesn't hold up for long. - They both have "lie" in the title, and this theme gets covered in both manga one way or another. - Very good art-style in both, you can feel the emotions characters are going through. - There is a sugar-sweet like first-love and romance themes  read more

This is a weak recommendation, so you can skip this. Love is a lie? I recommend this because the ending is yeah, it's hard to guess. Maybe it can make you unable to sleep 2-3 days.

In both stories, people are forced together due to some project or new idea. How the coupling goes and the plot itself are different, liking or disliking one of these stories doesn't automatically mean you'll also (dis)like the other story

Both manga have intertwined relationships with people who seem to foster yet unrevealed feelings. Moreover, some of the characters resemble one another in terms of earnestness.

Both manga have charming and awkward characters, yet you can't bring yourself to fully hating them.

The Government wants to combat the declining birth rate in Japan. Koi to Uso (Love and Lies) does have ecchi scenes even though it doesn't have this genre. Attractive Plot that you cannot stop reading it. Both Mangas Are Enjoyable
