I made a MAL account just to make a ten out of ten rating XD

Story: 10 out of 10.
I'll probably change this once this is over, but currently, this has a REALLY good story. The story hooked me in at the first chapter. I really didn't expect this to be this intense, in a good way.

Art: 100 out of 10. (wish I could score higher than 10...)
SO BEAUTIFUL. Without the art, I don't think I could enjoy this as much as I do. It has this fantasy-like style. Like the pretty ones in fairytales. It clearly shows motion and facial expressions.

Mixed Feelings
Umi no Cradle is set during the industrial revolution. It is a steampunk manga that revolves around ships and the crew. The main character is a girl in the search of her master, with his master's toddler as her companion. The manga shows about her struggles and tells how she gets used to life as a crew on a steamship named The Lady while being on search.

The industrial revolution is portrayed nicely in the manga, and the steampunk environment just fits it perfectly. The manga is based on the British Empire, from where the main character embarks on her journey. The art is finely suited, ...
