I really like this! I don't understand why people would give this a bad score, it's overall very enjoyable and the atmosphere is such a typical historical Edo-period, it's fascinating.

Story:
Revolves around a "Demon-Researcher" Sou-san and "Shimatsuya" Ritsuke - who, at this point, is more like a Yorozuya (Person who does odd-jobs) than Shimatsuya. They got to know each other through the first case, which as the summary says, involves ghost-rumours surrounding a brothel. They became closer as they went deeper into the case.

The story is very typical, but there are other elements that make the manga 2 times more interesting. I'd give it an 8/10

Art:
BEAUTIFUL. ... GORGEOUS. I really love the art, and how it suits the horror-melancholy atmosphere really well. It's got that classic, mature type of art - sort of like Yoneda Kou's - very refreshing. It's a 9/10

Characters:
Sou-san is a very straight-backed kind of person, but he's honest and straight-forward. He knows what he wants and disapproves of anything dishonest, but he's kind. I found him annoying at first, but as the chapters progress, we got to see more of him.
Ritsuke operates on a pretty loose morals - but he's a good person at heart. He's beautiful, nice, and can be really seductive when he wants to.
Honestly there's nothing really "special" about these characters, they are pretty realistic for a Shounen-Ai, horror manga, but the circumstances around them make them interesting. 7/10

Enjoyment: It's definitely an 8/10! I would definitely love to see more of these two, I felt that the manga is too short and deserves more chapters. It felt pretty rushed toward the end, but then again, we do have to remember that the time between the first and second chapter spans about weeks-to-months, so it's honestly not that rushed at all.

Overall it's an 8/10! Would definitely recommend this to everyone who enjoys Shounen-Ai and ghost-stories in general!
