Synopsis

People have been created that are human-animal hybrids, and powerful businesses bet on the outcome of their duels. College student Nomoto Yuuya's casual acquaintances ask him to drive them around to pick up girls one day, which he soon finds out means by force. The girl they kidnap is an animal-human hybrid named Hitomi, who slaughters all of them except Yuuya. Hitomi is a honey badger, which has been called the most fearless of all animals. Now Hitomi is assigned to stay with Yuuya, for his protection!

Kengan Ashura with furries. If you want to see that concept executed far better than it should be, you need to read this manga.

I can't believe this thing is below a 7 on MAL, loads of crap manga have only sex and violence going for them yet get rated way higher than Killing Bites which combines that appeal with tight well paced tournament storytelling, dynamic art that gets better as the series progresses, consistently funny humor and a cast of lovable characters. I couldn't believe my eyes when something I expected to be fun schlock managed to emotionally move me, more than once!

This story had a good premise to it and was interesting to read the 9 chapters this manga had, if this manga were to keep going I would believe it could very well be amazing. It had a lot of promise to it, judging from the nine chapters it had I would say I was very intrigued in what was going on. Battle royal with human-animal hybrids fighting to death for people's entertainment, sounds fun, doesn't it? This manga has interesting idea, but it fails at excision. If you read it brain turned off, you will still see its flaws.
