I had my eye on this a while ago as I was waiting for it to be completed before reading it. Once I saw it was complete I started but unfortunately I didn't realise the scanlators didn't catch up yet so I've stopped at chapter 164.

From the concept of the story, I was taking back to thinking of 'Rosario + Vampire' as that involved Vampires and school settings in a similiar manner. The cover art shows you what kind of style it goes for and it looked pretty decent which also drew me in but unfortunately I have to say 'Jitsu wa Watashi wa' didn't ...

so I read book 1, here are my thoughts

characters, fall under some pretty stereotypical tropes.

like the characters are alright, but pretty flat bread, the dynamic aspect of them, seems as though they are one line on a dimensional scale

we have main protag, and he can't lie cause he's too obvious, but than, the premise makes no sense when, he has to keep secrets,

but everyone is on the dumber scale apparently, so that's the catch, when he getting almost caught, dumbness saves him.

if main protag wasn't sold as being a dumb honest person, I think it would do justice for unsureness, which is ...
