Both are about females who love singing and have dreams of singing to find a boy from their childhood.

Both have parts about wanting to meet someone they met in their childhood again. Both have a main character who has a special skill. And both have two different guys who both like/have liked her.

I don't feel that the characters are especially similar, but I am surprised that this hasn't been recommended here. The themes feel very similar when it comes to the lengths they want to go within the music industry. Both are about bands/singers trying to reach new heights on the road to fame. In both the main characters suffer heartbreak and loss and have to find a way to keep moving forward and turn it into music.

Same music manga. Same unexpected encounter.

They have the same art style and in the sense of romance are similar.

While Fairy Idol Kanon is a fantasy kodomo manga and Anonymous Noise is a purely romantic shoujo manga, both have a female main character who likes to sing and eventually debuts in the music industry by getting in a group. Even if her voice can be objectively surpassed by other singers, her voice still captivates many and keeps people coming back for more. There's also a male character in both manga that composes music in a personal spot with similarly arranged set-ups. The art style in both of these manga may look different, but they kinda feel the same in my opinion.

Anonymous Noise and Disney's Magical Dance are two manga with a female protagonist who wants to do something related to music—singing in Anonymous Noise, and dancing in Magical Dance. There's a boy that the main character clearly likes, and there's another girl who seems like a rival to the MC in both talent and love.

Idol Dreams and Anonymous Noise are both shoujo manga where the main character is a girl who has some kind of tender, fond feelings for a boy she once knew. She's forced to forget about him however, as circumstances beyond her control show up and she also ends up being somewhat involved in music, with Idol Dreams having Chikage become an aspiring idol named Akari and Anonymous Noise heavily themed around singing and even a whole music band. Both manga just generally feel like they may have the same appeal for shoujo fans.

Both focus on reserved introverted main characters share a teenage cast as well as sharing a musical storyline with a unique artstyle and character designs.

Both have two guys fighting for a girl, while all of them are apart of the entertainment industry. the have a lot of differences with for example Ano ko no, Toriko having one of the males as the lead and fukumenki noise is also more angsty. However, both do give off a similar feel.

Both mangas have as main character a girl in high school who sings well and becomes the vocalist of a band and both are also about childhood friends.
reportRecommended by KimikoKosh
They both have a sort of love triangle but the main character is still waiting to rise to the top and meet her childhood friend who moved away. FN is about music but they both have group members to rely on and they both have a goal which is to become the best. The main characters are both really passionate in what they do plus the characters are pretty similar.

Same author and a thrilling story too! Since nousatsu junkie is finished, you should try reading this manga. I assure you that you will not be disappointed if you've read and loved nousatsu junkie.
