Written way back in the 1950s, just a few years after the end of the end of the American occupation, Tetsujin-28 was the first work ever to feature a Mecha in manga. The story can be a bit hard to follow, as only five volumes have been translated. Only five volumes have been translated, mostly consisting of the two most famous arcs. Until about a year ago, none of the manga at all was available, so hopefully more will come in the future. Despite its age, reading Tetsujin-28 still offers plenty of excitement.
