I picked up this manga when it was first published and freshly translated. I instantly fell in love with the artwork. And that might be the biggest reason why I kept with it, despite it's late updates.

STORY 8/10
Like most shoujo mangas, the were cliches, love triangles, forbidden love, etc. But for chocolate cosmo, it all seemed to be tied together, there were unexpected twist, and also a fair amount of lighthearted humor. That made reading it addicting.I rank the story an 8 out of 10, because despite it's good nature, it was still slightly over predictable.

ART 10/10
As I've said, the artwork is truly ... something else. Now, it is not realistic, but it is beautiful in a way only a true contender to the phrase 'shoujo-manic' could understand. The art made the predictable story line bearable. (And almost made me wish, Hagi was real)

CHARACTER 9/10
As for as character goes, I found each character to be memorable. With a strong leading heroine, a childish and charming protagonist, and a even more charming, antagonist, and a group of well structure friends. It made the story really come alive. I found every character to be lovable, unique and at the same time, I was able to relate with them.

ENJOYMENT 8/10
Not including the long hiatus on updates. I found that while I would instantaneously read when there was an update, I did not lose any sleep pondering when the next chapter would be released. While it did keep my attention hanging on every character's words, while I was reading it, when I was done with the newest update, I didn't feel incomplete that there wasn't a next chapter. Hence, I'm giving it a ranking of 8. It was very enjoyable, just not great.

OVERALL 9/10
Overall, I'd recommend this to artwork adoring fan girls, with a fetish for handsome teachers, and tangled relationship. I recommend this only to those who have patience for cliches, and adore love stories, no matter how simple they turn out to be.

This is mostly about a girl whom mistakes her home ec. teacher for a nice regular highschool student. The title of the manga will kick in once you get further in the manga. So not much to talk about,but overall it's an honest to good manga about a forbidden love that will work it's way to solve it's self one way or another with a funny cute twist in the end.
Art is awesome,you must read.

I actually read this by mistake...i thought it was something else. I only noticed when the plot didn't go quite how i expected lol.

Its a cute story but not original or anything amazing.

The story goes, Sakurai meets a boy at the beach, they have fun, spend the day together, and then it turns out they go to the same school.
She vows to look for him once school has started.When she finally does see him again, hes addressed as Sensi.Turns out hes her economics teacher
[i think its actually meant to be home ec teacher, they talk about family and cooking not the global market...]. ... The story continues with Sakurai learning to sort out her feelings and deciding what she really wants.

The character development on sakurai's part wasnt bad, I actually liked her a lot. She's blunt, honest, actually has a backbone...
Hagiwara [sensi] was left kind of vague. Whatever he's thinking and feeling isn't clear, he just happy-go-lucky and all smiles.
Yuushi's character was also pretty good, he's very relatable. I liked his character progression and although the concept isn't new, i liked what he did for the story.

One complaint, I don't get the title. After reading what the author explained chocolate cosmos to mean, I'm confused why she decided to name the manga after it.

It wasn't a bad read, I'd recommend it.
Would I read it again? Probably not.

Yes, this is a class shoujo manga where everything has pretty much already been spelled out for you without even reading it. I haven't completed it yet [there hasn't been any updates in the past month] but it's really cute. The artwork is simply AMAZING and very pretty. It reminds me of Arina Tanemura's work, though hers is more complex. However, it's a common story. A girl falls in love with her teacher whilst her childhood friend sorta is also in love with her...but she's too dense to realize it. And she, for reason, hates this guy anyway. So the rest of the story is ... probably going to involve her falling in love with her friend. But I'm curious to see how this will happen and whether it'll involve the sensei's intervention. The teacher is sooo cute and lovable. READ IT! Even though it's predictable, it's adorable and I see a lot of potential for it.

Before I even started reading, I knew I would love this manga.
I have always loved the author (Haruta, Nana) and her art is the best!
I've read Stardust Wink and Love Berrish; they were awesome!

Back to the main point. This manga started out as Sakurai Sayuki trying to find a boy she loves. Though, because of her sharp eyes.. people have been thinking that she is always angry; even though she isn't. Her two best friends Shiori and Mina tries their best to help her by taking her to the beach and going to basketball games. While she was at the beach once, she bumped into ... a guy who looked young and handsome. They started to talk and she found out he went to her school. She immediately fell in love. Later, she found out that he was her home economics teacher. She started having doubts about her love and didn't know if it was good to love him or not. You gotta read the manga to find out what happens, but it's worth it. The manga is so cute and I love it soo much!

The art is awesome, but I felt like the ending was kind of rushed. If there was more chapters it would've been great!

chocolate cosmos huh? it first attract me by the name, its pretty cute don't you think? well the story is pretty much already said a student x teacher relation ship but its worth reading it! there is this chapter when the teacher is lightly pissed becuase of comments of his baby face i really enjoyed that bit personally becuase i have the same issue hahaha. There are details that makes the story unique in a way so once again i do recomend to read. ^^

Art, its defenitetly outstanding specially because of the bishonen >:)

Chatacters, i really enjoyed each one of them there is even a ... narcist hahaha but damn it he was sexy x.x ... anyway the twist are well made and keeps it wanting the reader keep reading not matter what :P

Enjoyment? a lot but i really wanted more scenes of them being in a relationship but i think the end was really good.

(EDIT) The story is very predictable, which is no surprise when it comes to shoujou manga. This author decided to go with the forbidden love between a teacher and student. The first chapters are consistent and unique as well, not so cliche, but as the story progresses you can see right through the story.
My biggest problem with this manga was simply was that i knew where it was going and i didn't like it.
So basically if you'r not interested in a story where the heroine, which at first glance is likable and unique, turns into a very idiotic generic girl character then ... i don't recommend this manga.
