This will be a review of the whole series. No spoilers, don´t worry.

When I finished reading this series I felt a void in my heart. A gap, that won´t be filled with any other manga. I´m confident to say that this one of the best manga/comics about relationships, ever. The suspense makes it even more enjoyable. If you´ve already seen the K-drama... to be honest, prepare yourself to discover a whole new series. The TV drama didn´t do comics any good. It didn´t touch on the one of the most ... important themes of the comic.

STORY 10/10

The story is original, fresh and thrilling. It has many twists and turns, and it shows one of the best usages of flashbacks I´ve ever seen. It´s filled with action, but the main focus is on the character development and the relationship of the main characters.

ART 8/10

To be frank, the art didn´t impress me at first, but when I got used to the design - I couldn´t love it more. The feelings were expressed perfectly, and the main characters are drawn beautifully. I love the design of the main heroine - it makes her stand out.

CHARACTERS 10/10

The thing that gets me so hyped up about this series is its characters. The ML isn´t s as much original (classic bad boy/outsider type) as he´s so well executed. Really - such a deep dive into his psychology, as well as the mind of the main heroine! Speaking about the heroine... FINALLY! Finally we don´t get a stupid heroine that is all polished and almost never makes a mistake, always has pure intentions. Yes, even Seol is the "good girl", but her personality isn´t some manga chliché, but is used to showcase the problems of being too benevolent, it´s essential to the story.

ENJOYMENT 10/10

It´s fun to watch the actions of the characters and watch as small things develop into the large problems. The relationship of Seol and Jung is tense and to watch them get closer is one of the best parts of the comics.

OVERALL 10/10

This series convinced me that even comics can be ones of the high-literature, not only books. Cheese in the Trap has one of the best developed characters, riveting plot and it touches on many different subjects, such as: defamation, the importance of appreciation, judging other and overall the morals of other people. I highly recommend it to everyone, I hope this review was at least a little helpful.

I wrote this review because I didn't see a lot of reviews for this and thought I'd write my first review. This is my personal opinion and for the whole series.. but no spoilers.

Story 8/10: Nothing too complex, but there's a lot of drama and flashbacks , sometimes too much in my opinion but these are essential to the story so I'll let it slide. Excluding that I found the story engaging and enjoyable.

Art 8/10: The art is simplistic and you can see it improving over the parts, it goes really well with the story and theme. It captured the character's emotions perfectly in my ... opinion. And the Manhwa is colored so that's a plus for sure.

Character 10/10: This is probably the best part of this Manhwa , the characters. each and every character is exceptional- the main characters, the side characters and even the 'antagonists' were all interesting and fleshed out. I did the mistake of pigeonholing the characters to cliched character tropes, but the characters were not 2 dimensional and had actual depth.

Enjoyment 10/10: This series was a page turner for me , and even though I am not fan of manhwas/mangas/comics having too many chapters , it was thoroughly enjoyable to read.

Overall 9/10: This series is peak slice of life. The characters are personable and relatable. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to read something slice of life with great characters and plot.
I liked the portrayals of relationships here, whether it be friendships, lovers , or family is realistic. Seol's family was relatable and not too over the top. For some reason I liked the way that they showed how Seol's study and work and how it takes a huge part of her life and that she's not just some genius but works hard for what she has achieved.

This is actually my first review, so don't expect much.

I'm not really a big fan of mystery, but this one takes the cake...or something.

Almost the whole story is being told by Hong Sul, the main character's point of view. The things she encounters, the trouble she goes through and the people she meets. There isn't any fantasy or anything supernatural in this story, yet it is by far one of the best things I have read.

Give this try, even if you're thinking it'll be boring. In the end, It doesn't hurt to try does it? I actually thought about not reading this at first, ... and I thought it wouldn't be interesting, but goodness was I wrong! I absolutely do not regret picking up this story!

The art isn't absolutely gorgeous or intricate, it's quite simple, yet I just love the art. The characters' expressions actually have emotion. You can feel the emotion being expressed just from a simple stare or glare from the characters. Even the occasional chibi style which appears is quite amusing.

I just love all the characters, I can't even bring myself to hate some of the arrogant characters. Another interesting thing is that you just don't know what some of the characters are thinking....especially Yoo Jung, in fact, he is probably most mysterious, which just adds to my interest in this story. And Sul, she is probably one of my favourite female leads (but that's just my opinion), she's calm and smart, sometimes suspicious and cautious. It's always interesting when we discover her thoughts, feelings, and reactions to different people and situations.

The story has probably been encountered before. 'A college student student going through life' sounds like a pretty boring story, but this...this story is simply amazing!

Although there may be those who don't like mystery or psychological stuff, this isn't too dramatic. There is just the right dose of comedy, suspense and drama, simply amazing.

It's quite rare...actually very rare, for me to rate a slice-of-life story as a 10, but this story is just outstanding. There isn't a lot of stories which I have rated a 10. By far the most realistic slice-of-life that I have read.
Highly recommended.
