Kimi no kao ni sasu surprised me. After reading a plethora of yaoi mangas like I have I can guess the ending of must mangas I read, which has become every annoying. The first chapter was like most mangas explains the characters and the plot of the story. It was interesting enough to catch my attention. The second chapter blew me away because I didn’t know what was going to happen next. The chapters get better and better as you read and the characters become unpredictable as you continue. This manga is worth the read you will diffenetly enjoy it.
Now about the story line.
...
This manga takes place in a school setting. Miwa is in love with his best friend, Katou, and confesses to him. Baffled by the confession Katou pretends nothing happened and continues on being just friends. Miwa gets upset like most people would because Katou is dismissing his confession as though nothing happened. Miwa confesses again and at that point Katou introduces Miwa to a school mate, Hashina who is also gay. So now there are three parties in this boys love story. The story gets interesting because it turns into a love triangle and the reader is left wondering who will end up with whom. It’s hard to choose a favorite because all three boys are relatable and one can understand what they are going through. Of cause someone is bound to be left alone the question is who?
The art isn’t the greatest I have seen but it is not horrible. The characters like I said before are relatable and the story is easy to follow. I liked this manga because it was somewhat different from most. It wasn’t boy like boy waits until the last moment to confess they kiss and the manga ends. You see the characters develop, change ad grow as the story go on. I am sitting here flabbergasted and dumbfounded because of this manga... it is like no other... a must read.
This is my first review I just thought this manga needs a review hope it helps.
