While both these manga belong to vastly different genres (shoujo v/s sci fi), it's remarkable how very similar they are to each other. Both manga have boys that turn into girls, their struggles with their physical changes and needs, their emotional struggles towards members of the same (and opposite sex), love pentagons, gays, lesbians - the works. 

the same storyline about a boy changing into a girl and have to dealt wit various of problem... 

Both series have the setting of changes in world gender population, requiring set of people to mate with the rest of the population.
