When I first looked at the cover of this manhwa, I immediately wanted to dismiss it since it seemed extremely cliched. There are tons and tons of manga/manhwa that use this lolita + bishounen main couple.

I'll tell you that the first chapter isn't very promising. It's typical and makes the reader want to drop the title right away. But once you get past the first chapter, you'll already start to see a good development in the story.

Besides the lolita + bishounen aspects, this manhwa isn't actually as superficial as it seems. The events are realistic, and the characters are more down-to-earth. (Yes, they ACTUALLY seem ... like teenagers. I'm also very glad that Xiang is not the oh-so-common oblivious playboy type.)

Moreover, I admire an author who focuses more on developing friendships with the characters questioning and understanding one another first, rather than just rushing up to the romance.

The pacing is good, and I like the humor since it's so normal and relatable to. I would definitely recommend this read. I look forward to the next updates~!

P.S. Dan Wei is soo not annoying!! (I teared up at Ch. 12 TvT") Who couldn't love her?! :3

okay, when i first saw this manga i thought of how childish the cover looked..
i thought the story was going to super cliche and on top of that it wasnt even popular

but when i started reading it i fell in love with it. i love the characters and their strong bonds in friendship. they give each other nicknames and i love how the main girl is very strong. shes also very tiny!

on top of that, i laughed SOO much. the comedy is hilarious.

even though the story is pretty cliche i loved it. because i just love these kind of cliche.

mainly, its about a ... girl who ends up liking a guy who is fairly popular. they become really close friends with two other character. when the girl confesses he rejects her but she says she wants to continue being friends. shes is really a strong character. through out the story you can kinda hint he slowly shows interest it her. fairly cliche but its really great !

its actually my favorite manga/manwha i have ever read!

the art is good, but i just dont like how xian's eyes are really girly.

but overall i recommend anyone to read it! just upset that its not really popular.

When I first read what it was about, I knew it would just be a typical story, that has been done many times before. However, I was wrong. The story may seem similar but the reader's view on the characters are different. The story is good, not great, but not bad. It lacked a certain amount of originality, however it was still good due to the fact that it didn't bore me. The art was very good, it didn't seem rushed, and the various expressions that the characters made was great! The characters, oh my, was just cute >.< At first sight at Dan Wei, ... you may think she's just some annoying girl who looks like she cries all the time whenever the main male character says something to her. Although she did at times, she tried to stay strong, and for that reason I didn't really dislike her, in fact I found her quite cute ^~^ The main guy (Xiang), was.. hmm, just a typical playboy, at first! But after a few chapters go on, and character development kicks in, you'll eventually love him! The best thing this manga has done, was definitely the fact that they did not only focus on the two main characters, they actually payed attention to other lovers and side characters like Kui and Xian, and to be honest we learnt so much about those two that I actually loved them more than the main characters, especially Xian! The enjoyment was great, it didn't make me frustrated like most manga's *cough Strobe Edge *cough.. The manga wasn't that long as well, it was much shorter than other manga's since it only had 3 volumes, and in my opinion I loved the amount it had to offer because it didn't drag on and build up more problems getting in the way of the love and romance, which happens in most manga's. Overall it was really good, it made your heart flutter at times, and nearly makes you tear up! But the reason why it was just really good and not great, was because it doesn't have much originality in it and after a while, you can just replace it with another manga. Other than that it was cute, and I really recommend it to anyone into romance comedies! ^_^

Lovely Everywhere was my first time reading a manhua (Chinese equivalent of manga). I generally read shoujo manga, so this was entirely new for me. It took a bit of time for me to remember the names of the characters (in Chinese), but otherwise it read just like a normal shoujo manga.

The manhua is about a girl named Dan Wei, whose family owns a coffee shop. She meets a guy on a train and falls in love with him. Luckily for her, that same guy ends up being in her class when she goes to high school. There are a few complications, however. The guy, ... Xiang Lian, turns out to be a player and has plenty of upperclassmen girls that are interested in him. The other thing is, Dan Wei is naturally small and looks like an elementary-schooler! Even if her love seems hopeless, Dan Wei continues to care for Xiang Lian and they become friends.

The story was alright, but I felt like it could have been executed better. The manhua is quite short, so there isn't a lot of time for development. I thought that there should have been more about the romance between Dan Wei and Xiang Lian, but a lot of chapters were about his childhood and the personal obstacles he had to face.

The art is like typical shoujo manga with the characters having big eyes. The only problem I have with it is that sometimes Xiang Lian looks really feminine because he has eyelashes. (Sometimes in manga, guys with eyelashes don't look good).

The characters were decent. Xiang Lian's friends are funny at times and help keep the manga light-hearted. I'm not sure if I liked Xiang Lian too much, though.

Overall, the manhua was acceptable. It didn't make a huge impression on me, but I have been reading a lot of manga lately so that might be why. It was good enough to keep me reading until the end, though.
