Manga: "Fushigi" Toriatsukaimasu: Tsukumodou Kottouten
Both series are made up of short stories and involve supernatural objects. One has magical antiques and the other phantom books which contains forbidden knowledge. The objective of both protagonists are to retrieve these objects and prevent the world from falling into chaos.

Manga: Biblia Koshodou no Jiken Techou
Both light novels revolve around the theme of novels, but execute this theme in slightly different ways. In Biblia, the storyline of each chapter correspond to a particular piece of literature that is mentioned in its chapter title; In Dantalion, the outcome of each sub-story usually correspond to the ending of the fairy tale internal to Dantalion's world. While Biblia's setting is in the modern world without out of ordinary event, Dantalion unfolds in a fantasy world full of magic and other oddities.
