When life takes extremely unexpected turns, and takes you on surrealistic adventures where nothing really is what it seems, you got the premise for both of these two awesome mangas.

When I read Tropical Citron, I wasn't aware it was created by the same person who did Becchin to Mandara. However, the similarities were striking, and I couldn't help but think of it whilst I was reading Tropical Citron. The humor, art, and absurd storyline are characteristics both of them share. While I much prefer Tropical Citron to Becchin to Mandara, anyone who likes one will most certainly enjoy the other.

Both are these really weird almost intentionally avant-garde, psychological, graphic sex-filled manga with ridiculously difficult to follow plots. Stay for the art.

Both have male leads who go on wild drug related journeys. The Ultra Heaven world is more plausible futuristic, while the Citron world is more absurdist supernatural. The art in Citron is somewhat similar to Ultra Heaven, although Ultra Heaven is much cleaner and more fluid.

Both by the same mangaka. Netsutai no Citron is definitely the more polished and coherent of the two. However, Wendy is worth a read if only to get a glimpse of Matsumoto's creative evolution.

It's the work of the same author, Matsumoto Jiro, and though it has a completely different plot, the mood and picturing technique is same fascinating. And of course the scenes of erotica. Some of them are really hard to digest. The same time, that is what creates charm of this series and makes it unfogettable.

Both are gorgeous works of art and storytelling, mostly focused on witches.
