Crossdressing mayhem rules the day! In each series, a performing boy (coda: Japanese dance; kinj: kabuki theater) is forced to crossdress. Both boys are reluctant but find the experience empowering as time goes on. I highly recommend reading these manga. 

Both manga are ostensibly about the kabuki world of inheriting titles, but Kunisaki is a comedy and Pin to Kona plays things a little more dramatic, but still romcom. 

Kabuki is a theme of these manga. 

Ouran is a shoujo about girl crossdressing into a guy and ending up in a reverse harem. Kunisaki Izumo no Jijou is pretty much the same thing, except the one crossdressing is girly male character.. who also ends up in some sort of reverse harem of male characters. 

Basically, as Kunisaki (kabuki onagata) half of the main characters of the many One Shots are "Traps"... the other half are the boy that somehow hit or are being hit by those Traps.
