If you haven't watched or don't know about the Amagami SS anime, basically it's a somewhat typical high school romance harem anime based on a Playstation 2 dating sim. The 'catch' in the anime was the fact that unlike most harem anime, the show was done in an omnibus format where one main girl was pursued at a time with mostly 1 on 1 interaction with the main character Junichi and the current main female. After 4 episodes, time would be 'reset' and a new girl would be the target of Junichi's affection. One complaint about the anime is that pretty much every arc
...
felt a bit rushed.
In this manga, the focus is on Tsukasa Ayatsuji and her route in the dating sim. As said earlier, this manga is a high school romance series where the majority of the interaction is between Junichi and Tsukasa. The story of the buildup to their relationship is quite interesting and if you're into romance series you'll be hooked from the beginning.
While the anime had a bunch of the major scenes covered, not only does the manga have more Junichi/Tsuksasa interaction, the importance of minor characters is greatly reduced compared to the anime. Also the ending of the manga actually follows the 'True Ending' of the original dating sim, as opposed to the anime which mixes scenes from other endings and creates some new content on its own.
Overall if you liked Tsukasa's arc but feel like there could have been more, this manga will be perfect for you.
If you are just casually picking this manga up, expect a really fun, interesting and short romance manga.
