Another day another underground manga, ( mostly spoiler free since it only contains elements from ch 1 )
This title has incredible artwork and compelling characters, this is just a preliminary since only one chapter is ( at the time of writing ) currently translated. However I do feel inclined to write a review to speak on the intrigue of the series even out the gate.
being serialized in my glorious " shounen sunday magazine " I gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised. It is also refreshing not to have any immediate supernatural stuff in a manga, and instead builds intrigue in the main

character first, which is always great for pacing.
Strand focuses on our mc susumu manaka, who seems to value money and investments as well as a solid future above all else. With sound choices In stocks while he was just in 4th grade he was able to make 20 million yen's worth of investments while still in high school. but that is hardly relevant to the focus of this manga and is merely used to elevate his character and feel by characterizing him as someone who is logical and wouldn't risk his future or endanger himself for another person. We see this when his classmate saves an old lady from a car crash by busting in through the windshield and heroically getting rescuing her. The series places a lot of focus on the psychology of the main character in relations to how he sees others, girls in his class and his own self perception in a way that is very realistic. Even though our mc got there first the only thing he thought to do was to call for emergency services and watch, as most people would. somehow this gets to him and he spends of the rest of the day reflecting in class over what happened as well as his own future which he so prides himself on becoming the creator of a large firm or " it company ".. but the series doesn't go in this direction at all instead at the end of the chapter the narrator says there are 3 days left before all electronic devices cease to function. ( IMO some of the artwork suggests it could be leaning into almost an apocalyptic type setting between people and other people )
I recommend this manga to anyone who is a fan of psychological, coming of age stories ( even just off chapter 1 )
