Short, sweet, with heavy themes combined into a wholesome narrative. I couldn't ask for more.

Let me begin with me not liking stories about outright “fixing” a person. The premise felt like it was leading directly to that, the title itself, the design, the first chapter. My decision to endure a little more gave me even more confidence on the author to always deliver what's an injection of earnest wholesomeness in the mix. The story isn't about the fixing of a person, but about company, accepting, understanding, but not about changing somebody else. The theme itself is “If a person can change, it's not our job ... to do so, we'll accompany them in their journey”. It's a manga about being there, and letting things move the way they should, without forcing anything.

Beautiful, cute, it hits when it wants to, and the format itself leans into a desire from the reader for things to get better. It's a page turner that always made me wish there was another chapter. I applaud this author for always making nice stories, with nice themes, without it feeling like a stick in my throat. We earn every win, we mourn every failure, but we get back up with the characters and we move along. I'm now accustomed to the writing style, and this isn't an exception to a short, enjoyable quality.

In terms of the art, yes, horny bait. You can tell what the author enjoys, but since the designs never intrude in the narrative to charge attention towards it, I'd call it bonus points for restraint. It bases itself on cute, horny designs, while being very simplistic. It definitely makes one root for them, out of a pure desire for them to never get hurt. They're these blobs of cuteness that's hard not to get attached to, specially with the personality they display, and their constant introspection and efforts for things to get better.

8/10. It's a simple manga, but it's got such a soul. I loved where it led me, and it ends in such a way that I can't describe my happiness. These kinds of stories keep my curiosity alive, and my wholesome meter running. I highly recommend.

Heartfelt and hot as fuck. An absolute "sapphic cishet" vibe. Can't say too much for fear of spoilers, it's a very simple comic, there's no B-plot and basically only the 2 main characters; I love the raw, laser-focused simplicity. The girl is a total mess trying her best and the bland main dude is actually really endearing and distinctly not a huge pussy. They're your typical polite Japanese types but bang all the time and frequently exchange words/gestures of affection.
Truly, they have the healthiest romantic relationship in all of Nippon.

The comic itself has no sex depicted; however, I read it on Nhentai, which throws in ... all of the author's 18+ Fanbox content at the end, and I've sworn I must never nut to it. The raw and tender emotions that this manga has stirred in me combined with the absolutely demented wibbly-ass, Danganronpa-ass, sexy-ass art style ought to wring from my loins a godless tide of pre- so vast and so potent that it would sire the next generation of humanity, repopulating Japan instantly, and I'm not paying no child support. And that's just the pre-, the sploodge itself would herald a Waterworld-esque oceanic apocalypse. So if you're ever reading the paper, enjoying your morning coffee, when suddenly the birdsong fades, and the serene sunlight streaming through the window blinds is harshened and replaced by an infinite stream of eggshell white boy-goo, please accept my sincerest apologies. I accept responsibility for what I did, and I will try to do better in the future. So, with that forewarning out of the way, back to the review.

My only theoretical complaint is that the girl becomes less hot as she gets less mentally ill, but that's just a matter of taste.

The Story is really Wholesome. MC comes back to find his childhood friend in the most depressing and awful state one could be in. So he starts to cheer her up with going out on dates and stuff. Eventually he falls for her and they start living together. Happy Ending.

Zyugoya has a theme with his comics (i've read 3 of them) and they are really good. The summary of that theme is just Helping someone become a better person whether that help is in the form of a helping hand or being their ... as a Partner for them!

The characters are also really fleshed out (even thought there are only 2).
Kyouko (FMC) is a Tomboy who was Assaulted in her University by her Seniors. This led her to become Depressed and a Shut-in with little to no life goal now. He changed her hair color and clothing just so No one could recognize her in her home town. Though all of that changes when she meets Touma (MC). She starts opening up to him and as she gets happier the eye pigment starts to unravel until she is Healed.
Touma (MC) s the Childhood friend to Kyouko who returns to his Hometown on a Job Project. He finds Kyouko in a bad shape and starts to do his best to make her back to the Kyouko she once was.

This story is really good! 8/10 in my books and I really recommend it!
Also since its Zyugoya yeah it has some NSFW Panels between the chapters but that's just Fan Service. Thank You
